While I prefer Nike as a brand to all other sporting companies, I don't really give a shite who sponsors a&m.
However....I do give a shite about what brand recruits prefer.
While I'm pretty sure a&m just renewed some sort of deal with Adidas last summer, I have yet to see any actual numbers on said renewal, or when it expires.
While decisions based on the preferences of teenagers isn't necessarily a good thing ( ), would you want a switch to Nike if it meant less money? I realize it's hard to answer since there aren't definitive monetary offers from both, but for the sake of argument let's say Nike offered a million less in money & equipment.
we all know that teenagers can make decisions based on silly criteria sometimes., and personally I'd want every advantage of landing a stud recruit. Just curious.
Also, our Track & Field athletes are sponsored by Nike. Does each sport negotiate separately with companies? I just assumed it was Adidas across the board for athletics.

Adidas has done a good job with our uniforms but I'll never buy any A&M Adidas gear

Agreed, but we're signing a long term deal and they're going to get exclusive apparel rights.

While recruits generally prefer Nike, it seems they like ours since we've been in the SEC.
I really don't care who sponsors TAMU apparel, but Adidas has repped us extremely well since 2012 imo.

Nike always fricked up our colors. Furthermore, I prefer not to be Oregon's whore-arse bitch. But that's just me.

Nike messed up the colors bc we allowed them too. Our jerseys have been Great the past few years bc Sumlin has final say.
