We should talk to D.J. Durkin, the current UF defensive coordinator. He has SEC experience as a DC, currently coaches linebackers, and can recruit.

D.J. Durkin got promoted to D.C. in the spring of 2013. He inherited the #8 defense in 2013 and this year he worked them down to #20. Not a good trend at all. (A bit similar to Snyder inheriting a good DeRuyter squad in 2012 and working them down in 2013).

And its pretty safe to say that those good defenses weren't a production of the DCs, but more of Muschamp.
