I'm not voting for a corrupt politician or some blabbering jackass with a mean arse Napoleon complex.
I got two nuts. The way I see it, they can both suck on them.

I've never understood why people don't vote, there are people in our world who would kill for the right to vote. It's unamerican to not vote for your nations next leader.

I'm voting Election Day, because it's a lot more convenient for me.
And I'm voting MAGA. Probably not bothering to vote down ticket on the national level, just state. Ken Brady can suck my dick and I hope he gets syphilis.

I'm with you. Neither will get my vote. I'm going to vote Johnson and split most of the rest R or L down the ballot.

If not, you can vote for the Local hometown candidate from College Station. Safe to say he is an Aggie fan???

This will be the first time in my long life I've ever voted for a Democrat at any level. frick the GOP for subjecting me to this. Idiots.

I usually take election day off to vote. To savor the historic import of the civic event. Not this time. There is no joy in the Republicans blowing the easiest political layup of my lifetime, perhaps of all time.
I'll vote conservative/libertarian down ballot. I don't know who I'll vote for in the presidential race, only that it won't be for either slime the major parties came up with.

I think I'll do this in 2020. Out of convenience, of course, but also to lend it the gravitas I think it deserves, as well.
Aggiebelle and I voted for Trump. Was definitely a "least of three evils" vote, but everyone knows the choices this cycle are trash across the board.

Just want to take this moment to say that I enjoy being your friend on facebook. Not sure if it's your brother or someone else with the same last name posting political messages to you, but he's been cracking me up when his stuff shows up on my timeline.

Same, I hate to patronize but to me it seriously is a big deal.
Both my grandfathers served in WWII in the European Theater of war, one was drafted the other signed up/enlisted. They didn't go fight the Nazis because they attacked us first (sure there was lots of evidence they were thinking about it, and we had pacts with other nations involved) but they went over there to stop a terrible regime and ensure rights for their kids, their kid's kids, and so on, so that they wouldn't ever have to experience something similar to it.
Yes this election is a shitshow, and it might well be the worst we've ever had (ask any old person and they will usually say that's said for every new election, it just slowly gets worse every time) but as was said earlier, there's a lot of people in worse countries that would love to have the right to vote. Don't take it for granted.

Now my two cents, trump is an absolute moron that can't control his mouth and I'm incredibly embarrassed that the GOP has ended up with him being their candidate. That said, the clintons are crooks and hell will freeze over before I ever respect, and much less vote, for one of them. I early voted his week and I don't think I have to spell it out for y'all who I checked the box next to for president.

What matters to me is who he appoints as his cabinet. You can tell a lot about a leader by those he surrounds him/herself with.
