They won't count towards team rankings but still an important piece of the puzzle. Wouldn't mind a LB transfer either to add some depth

Why not? I understand it doesn't count but JUCO's seem to count. So FBS transfers do not count. Do FCS transfers count? Is it none of Div I counts but Div II and/or III count?

Because recruiting rankings are solely done for entertainment purposes and there's not a market that demands every FBS transfer be ranked on a scale of 2-5 stars
