Yes, for a one season only type of thing. They need young talent and it's a good draft to get a big piece of the post Dirk era.

At the end of the day, Mavs and Rockets are in the same boat. Watching the WCF and NBAF from their couch.

How much good young talent are you getting at ~9? More than likely it won't be a star. Dallas will suck again and ahoudton will win 50 plus and be back in the playoffs.

Rolando Blackman, Dale Ellis, and Dirk were all no. 9 Draft Picks so we seem to do pretty well when it comes to picking at no. 9. Also, this year is one of the deepest drafts in years.

I'll believe it when I see it. Finding a star, building a team, etc takes years and years and a lot of luck.

We have a top 5 player, a good system, and solid role players. We'll be back next year. Dallas will be lucky to win 40.

Oh were several years from contending. We need a better PG (Yogi is ok but Ntilikina would be better). We need a scorer who knows how to actually pass a ball (Barnes is nice but he's a black hole once he receives a pass).

Also, don't think that the Rockets will ever win a championship in its current format. You're us ten years ago, you do great in the regular season but then lose quietly in the first or second round.

Game 1 changed completely when Kawhi went down. No excuses, still had multiple opportunities to steal the game late, but failed to execute down the stretch. Can't give away games in the conference finals, no matter the circumstances.

Oh, and frick Zaza.

Welcome to the "deep-dicked by the dubs" club Tbird . I took some lumps when the Blazers got swept but I honestly felt like it didn't matter who you put in front of that team, the result is going to be the same. shite ain't fair.

Yeah there was no beating GS this year unless they were off their game.

Is anybody else all in on Golden State after this bullshite?

Lebron is an idiot

tldr version: Lebron James compares the vandalism of the gate to his $21 million mansion (which may very well have been perpetrated by black miscreants) to 14-year old Emmett Till being lynched in '55 for whistling at white women. Yeah, those are exactly the same. Numbnuts.

“I think back to Emmett Till’s mom, actually. That’s one of the first things I thought of,” he said. “The reason she had an open casket was that she wanted to show the world what her son went through as far as a hate crime, and being black in America. No matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are, no matter how many people admire you, being black in America is tough. We’ve got a long way to go, for us as a society and for us as African Americans, until we feel equal in America.”

I'm not thinking he's comparing himself to Till. I don't have an issue with it. He's right, racism is still there and always will be and he's not wrong in saying being black in a majority Hispanic and white country isn't without unique challenges.

No, no, no, you're just wrong. Sorry for not being sorry.

"No matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are, no matter how many people admire you, being black in America is tough.”

Emmett Till wasn't rich or famous or admired. He was just murdered. Strangely, Lebron was not murdered. Dumbshit has no idea what "tough" is.

Go Warriors.

Yeah this part was over the top but is he right though? I mean, he's rich and famous but he's still got a racial slur that was meant to belittle him spray painted on the gate to his driveway. So he still has a valid point right?

If he doesn't compare this to Emmett Till, then yes he has a point. But to me, that reference made anything else he had to say irrelevant.

I find it suspicious there are no cameras at his gate. Seems unlikely for a 21 million dollar home of a public figure.

Not saying it is necessarily staged or anything, but would like more info.
