There's no discernible pattern or correlation, so the impact of this current deployment is unknown.

Deployment 1 (April 2003 - March 2004)

Aggie Football: 4-8 (Franchione year 1)
Aggie Basketball: 0-16 in conference (Watkins Fired)
Aggie Baseball: Regional loss to Houston (2003 season)

Deployment 2 (Calendar Year 2006)

Aggie Football: 9-4 (Holiday Bowl loss)
Aggie Basketball: Acie Law's top 2 years
Aggie Baseball: Childress' first year (losing record)

Deployment 3 (Calendar Year 2011)

Aggie Football: Year of the Sherman Choke
Aggie Basketball: Tail end of Turgeon, beginning of Kennedy debacle
Aggie Baseball: CWS

Deployment 4 (May 2015 - Present)

Aggie Football: TBD
Aggie Basketball: TBD
Aggie Baseball: TBD (Super Regional so far)

Championships won while I was deployed:

Track (M&W): 2011
Women's Basketball: 2011

It's pretty sad that one of the most significant games I ever attended as an Aggie was Baylor-A&M in the Elite Eight on the ladies' run to the championship.

Based on nothing but the law of averages, I'd say:

Aggie Football: due for an upswing

Aggie Basketball: due for an upswing

Aggie baseball: ....not gonna say anything right now for fear of jinxing

Be safe, as always, sir!

I was at the game in Indy against the Irish. Place was packed and probably 90% pro Irish or more. They were not real happy when TAMU cut down the nets as they thought it was theirs.

I may be a slow coach but is somebody down voting almost every post on the TAMU board?

Just ignore the down voting. He's winning every time we talk about it.
