The last 2 years have been fantastic at Lsu. However, he was pretty average at Cincy. I didn't know much about him. It's hard to pry someone from high-level P5 programs for lateral moves.

He could very well have caught lightning in a bottle with Jaylen Daniels. His time at Notre Dame and Cincinnati don't scream "offensive genius", so I'm glad we didn't dive into another deep contract because of what he's done lately.

With Klein, we know it wasn't talent that made him look good. His offenses were methodical. He isn't the type of OC that is going to decimate your defense by going fast in practice and drain them with quick offensive drives in games (or worse, quick 3 and outs). The downside to Klein is that it will take some time to see his offense work. This may be a three year project because of how bad our O-Line is.

I've been traveling all week and missing out on info. Does anyone have anything on Scott Symons for DC? I'd be on board. I have no idea how things will turn out going the young, up and coming, hungry route for coordinators but it couldn't be any worse than the alternative route that's been tried in the past. They should be more relatable to recruits, something that will mean more than ever with everyone getting paid.

I e only seen a couple rumors on Twitter from unknown people so I’d take it with a grain of salt. It does make sense given his success and having Texas ties. They’ve also done well in the portal so I think he’d be better able to adjust to our exodus.

He’s also a 3-3-5 guy so similar defense to what we ran this year. It’s not a sexy defense but presumably it wouldn’t be as significant of an adjustment.

Lol at Lsu for losing him, but I stick by my comment. He was pretty so so at Cincy and only looked great once he got Daniels.
