No offense or anything but you need to tread carefully here poking fun at us ignorant folk. There's a post on the OTB asking how weird it is for males to post selfies. I'm just sayin'.

ETA: Well, crap. Threats are useless when you preempt them by outing yourself. Well played, sir.

All of you youngsters badly missed out on DSP's (Dead Solid Perfect). The name was well-earned.

It was from Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, SafetySam and finestfirst79 days. I have no idea how long it survived after I graduated, but it was awesome. 1/2 lb burger perfectly cooked.

I'll get this wrong, but as my decrepit memory serves it was a few blocks off University Drive. Say near Cross and Tauber. That's probably wrong, but I don't think by much.

I actually meant the Deathburger, a 1/2 lb special with jalapenos, habaneros, tabasco, and all sorts of nastiness on a sesame seed bun...with pepper jack cheese.

When someone was selected as the drum sergeant, his "reward" was to eat a deathburger in one sitting without water.

And I did. From LINK :

"I played the Mr. Gatti's over on University for a couple of years, a couple of nights a week. I played at a hamburger place on the corner of Church and Wellborn Road called Dead, Solid, Perfect. I played there every Sunday night for a couple of years," reminisced Lovett.

Weird thing - I ended up loving Lyle Lovett's and in particular Robert Earl Kean's music, and though they were only a year behind me and played routinely in town, I never once heard of them until I moved away. And Lovett played in my favorite hamburger joint!

No, I'm older than frick. I coined the word "frick" at age 13.

I thought this board was exempt from Rule 1 and the other memes that sites like ****** adhere to.

He technically didn't 'demand' a rule #1 like they do in ******. He just wrote out loud what every guy was thinking of when they first realized EKG was a woman.

I don't know why TAs doesn't (a) rename that board "The Zoo," (b) create an actual Football board, (c) moderate the content accordingly.

As discussed, they want to force anyone who wants to talk football to pay them for premium. As such, keeping the free football board as crappy as possible is in their best interest.
