As someone who has followed LSU since 2000, you are exactly right in my opinion.

Herman would be a disaster for us. He's legit.

He's a great recruiter, which is part of his job. There was a time when that LA talent went to Miami, FSU, Tennessee, out west, etc. It's easier recruiting it to LSU but it's not a given it goes there. Getting rid of him without having a known big time hire on the line is taking a big chance

Once Saban got the momentum going, recruiting there was easy. Les continued it, which is not nearly as difficult.

I am very worried about Herman going there. That would be our apocalypse. He would have them winning right away and would demolish us in recruiting. Mark my words.
