I'd like to officially invite any Ags on here that are embarrassed of/ disappointed in JFF because of today's game, to take a year long break from being an Aggie fan.

He has been slandered/frustrated/wrongly accused/and bullied by the media for a year now.

If he wants to make light of the autograph situation, by joking about it, that is his right.

He doesn't have to cry in interviews or apologize to the Assoc of Former Students.

If you're truly embarrassed, disassociate yourself.

Otherwise you can sit back, STFU, enjoy watching possibly the GOAT, and enjoy the rewards our university is benefiting from.

I think you're slightly over reacting though

I'm more embarassed by a lot of our posters than I am of anything JFF has done.

If you would trade last year/this year/the upgrade in national profile/university profits, to save yourself the unreasonable personal embarrassment of an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty by a 20 year old kid.......

No one cares Hall punched a guy? No one cares RSJ's family is on record being offered $600,000 by "other schools". No one cares Cameron Clear STOLE FROM TEAMMATES. No one cares Deshazor targeted a defenseless WR who had already missed the catch. No one really cares about any of the other players off/on field issues.

I support this program unconditionally. I do not support individual players unconditionally, and Manziel put himself above the team today. It wouldn't be an issue EXCEPT THAT PUTTING HIMSELF ABOVE THE TEAM ALL OFFSEASON ALMOSY COST US THIS WHOLE SEASON.

I figured he would have SURELY learned his lesson. Guess not. I've never said a bad word about him before today, but the guy acted like a chicken shite dumbass.

Sure I do. Difference is he is a true freshman and Manziel is a redshirt sophomore who is under the biggest spotlight in the country.

No, the difference is Johnny didn't punch a guy.

He "air signed" in response to a trash talking rice players.

Your basing this all on a gif. Th REALITY is that after that he ran 20 yards to talk shite to a meaningless Rice DB and then kept at it even AFTER a ref threw a flag.

I watched the game, i haven't seen the gif.

And you are referring to two different incidents.

The flag was thrown after he ran 20 yards downfield, talked shite for a good ten seconds, had a flag thrown on him and KEPT talking shite until the ref ushered him away.

Did it negatively affect the game/our chance of winning? Can you even for a second put yourself in this kids shoes after the scrutiny he's been under from everyone, including ags like yourself?

It didn't effect the game at all, and that is even more depressing. He was talking shite to a mid-major player on a play that didn't matter just because they taunted him? Imagine what he'll do when Bama taunts him.

He probably played against them in HS. I'm more embarrassed that a "graduate" from "Texas A&M" doesn't know the difference between affect and effect.

It was his first game back, i'm sure his adrenaline was through the roof. Just sleep on it, and you'll feel better about it tomorrow.

I'll feel better about it when you don't run false grammar smack.

Affect vs. Effect

--------------------------

Anyway... It's ok for you to make baseless statements about fanboys and texags and whatever cliche "inter-ag" smack you have read on the internet...but it's not ok for me to teach you about a mistake you've undoubtedly made countless times?

------

Back to the point at hand. If you're embarrassed by Manziel, you should prove it and boycott this season.

Rumor is he's going to sit a bit next week, so it looks like someone agrees with me.

Even though he threw 3 TDs, I don't feel like he played well at all. Sitting him next week is a terrible idea. He needs all the fine tuning with new receivers at game speed that he can get.

That'd be really foolish considering the Rice player said he wasn't even talking trash. If Sumlin caves to the pressure i'll lose respect for him.

You really think he wasn't talking trash? Johnny just started talking mess out of nowhere? Not saying that's unbelievable because it's JFF, but unlikely that it was unprovoked

The Rice player tweeted @ ESPN that JFF wasn't talking trash, he said that JFF said "whats up (players name), nice hit!"
