I still can't get over this: it is 2014, and the football program at BU is in better shape, top to bottom, than the football program at tu.

Nature hates a vacuum.

Baylor filled the void left by us (SWC)

Oklahoma State the void left by Nebraska (Big 8)

It's gonna be McLane/Felder Stadium when I get done with it.

I'll send them some real bricks

Agree. Assuming the 4 desirable schools don't go PAC 12, long term there should be a really interesting dynamic between the Texas schools plus Oklahoma schools recruiting.

Baylor looks best now, but will that change without Briles eventually?

TCU has the best home recruiting turf of the four, but will their standing be increased throughout time? I think it's too early to tell

Texas should eventually be back to being top dog in the conference by a wide gap, but how long?

Tech is the most interesting. They have advantages and distinguishing factors over TCU/Baylor in being a large public school with more $. It will come down to recruiting and investing in facilities. If they were to go PAC with Texas, then they would make a huge leap in perception by default from the lowering of TCU/Baylor status

Oklahoma has taken such a huge hit in recruiting since A&M-SEC. They've been recruiting more West Coast and taking grade risk player scraps that used to be for A&M(when we were 3rd choice in state). They're doing well not to take a step back ATM, but they're gonna have a really hard time post-Stoops.

Oklahoma State is interesting as well. They've built a nice program and I could see them and Baylor and OU dominating the next decade of BDF play

I personally want Baylor, KSU, ISU, or OSU to win every championship from here in out.

While Baylor winning the Big12 is not good for the conference, I still dont want to see it. frick those coattail riding racists. They deserve the history they have.

Id rather have Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, or Purple Baylor win it.
