I wasn't able to watch but that sounds great. Students getting involved as usual.

The first I heard of it was during the Missouri game on 3rd deck. And it spread like wildfire

Keeping with the spirit, here are some questions:

How does this tPOS play at altitude?

Really?

Do we need to warn the concessions department about this guy?

Honestly, how can you ever make fun of anyone losing badly?

Actually I have always loved that guy. Subliminally gets across a message that is true about A&M- we are NOT racist unlike the other major flagship institution in the state.

I credit part of that to our military heritage actually. Despite sip smear of the backwardness of the corps it is based on a tradition in the US military, and the US military has always been more progressive than society on racial issues.

Meanwhile Texas had blackface performances on campus as recently as the 70s, and we can't forget their mammy-era obsession:

We all block that out.

I was ready to turn the page on him and move on after he made all his PATs against Bama (figured he would choke there if anywhere early this year), but he did well. Then SMU happened

he's got the yips. You can tell because the way he missed the first one was the exact way he missed the second. Kicking is a lot like putting. It's really not very hard. There aren't a lot of mechanics to get right. But some people just get the yips. It's in his head, not his ability. That's hard to fix because he probably does it right time after time in practice. Honestly, Bertolet has all the makings of an elite kicker.

Btw, equally disturbing to me is how much trouble Kaser is having holding. He's fumbled like 3 holds this year. One I think Bertolet made anyway but that's not helping.

This.

Bertolet is so frustrating because he clearly has real ability. His misses are usually even pretty kicks, he just hits the the wrong direction. He has a huge leg and the ball is always up high and end over end just how you want it, it's just like he gets up to an extra point and aims to the side.

I feel for the kid, he probably has an NFL leg but he just can't get straight between the ears.

You can have ours. All we want in return is a football signed by JFF.

Man those statues were the funniest thing I have ever seen. What idiot on the 40 acres thought that those were A) not racist and B) actually something worth having?
