Duane Wilson transfers to A&M
Will be eligible next season as a grad transfer. Glad to add more guard depth!
Josh Nebo to the Ags
Will sit out a year, but should soften the blow when Williams leaves.

How do basketball transfers work differently than football? Are they immediately eligible?

He's graduating from Marquette so will be eligible immediately.

Nothing special by any means, but he should be a solid depth contributor and add experience to our back court rotation.

Pass the kooaid, Pat. Next year we have a strong season. We will compete for the SEC, get a top 5 seed, and then the madness of March ensues.

the more i look at wilson the more i like this transfer. heres an article that talks about his role change at Marq. LINK
basically, he got a pretty raw deal when asked to be the teams primary defender (after having one of the best freshman seasons ever at marquette), although his replacement did turn out to be their leading scorer. admon should benefit from not having to guard the other teams best player all the time now.
and since we like rankings, heres his profile LINK

Caleb Smith and Kobie Eubanks transferred out.

Smith whatever, but was hoping that Eubanks could step up and contribute. He only had one or two good games this season though.

A&M got a late addition to the class of Fort Bend Marshall forward John Walker III. The 6-foot-8, 190-pound small forward was previously committed to Duquesne but opened things up after head coach Danny Ferry was fired.

5a POTY, versatile forward that can shoot from 3 as well. Needs to bulk up a bit, but should be an interesting addition in the future.

Danny Ferry, now that goes way back.
