Ags gave up some yards but Arkansas probably still has the best passing attack in the SEC. Wilson can throw the ball.
We took away the home run play. Their long TD pass was actually a 1 yard completion with a few missed tackles.
The thing that stuck out to me most were the interceptions by our D. Yes, one of the passes was thrown directly to our guy. The other was a nice deception when we showed cover 2 and dropped a man back. How we got them doesn't matter.
Last year we had few interceptions because hardly any of our DBs were in position to be reading the QB and jumping routes. We played catch up and chase most of the games last year so we didn't get that many interception opportunities.
This is very encouraging even with the yards we gave up.

I like how we played bend and not break as far as passing D went. And we stopped a hell of a running back in Knile Davis multiple times. I'm impressed with our corners yesterday. They were punching the ball out of the receivers hands.

our scoring defense has been much improved

The new DBs are showing some serious flashes. They're still inconsistent and need to work on the tackling, but I like what I've seen so far from guys like Devante Harris, Otis Jacobs, Deshazor Everett, etc.

I think that this is more of a by product of how often/fast we are scoring.
If we have a bunch of possessions then they will have a bunch too and if we aren't getting a 3 and out each time they will have some yards.
What was the number of plays over 10, 15, 20, etc yards? I think we will see that the numbers were reasonable but I haven't looked.
