If he was in Tilmans casino and playing with house money, you bet your arse he had to sign his name for stuff

This will be very interesting. The Sips had started "circulating" negative news about Herman around Thanksgiving after the Herman to LSU news got released, but it was behind the paywall. They cleaned it all up when negotiations with Herman and LSU fell through. A bunch of stuff got released on A&M 247 board, but Perroni cleaned it up and posters got pissed that 247 staff would let Sip lurkers and Aggies post negative stuff about the A&M staff, but Sip stuff got removed expeditiously.

I just feel that most things that would be a big deal are cash based businesses.

Not in the casino world, if Herman ran up huge bar tabs and received large sums of house money in high stakes poker rooms, he signed for it all.

Hypothetically though, huge bar tabs and poker tabs get released with his signature.... Then what?

Who knows? I guy like tilman would not want to be associated with anything like hookers and blow, but showing Herman racked up thousands of dollars of comp charges in booze over a short period doesn't help hermans image.

Here's a twist, what if Herman had lots of Herman + 1 charges? Dinner reservations for 2 at Tillman restaurants for example, on nights Hermans wife was back in Houston with the kids?

This is all just for speculation of course. But it wouldn't shock me at all if Herman is shitting his pants at the thought of Tillman revealing some poor choices

I mean, it would probably make his home life a little rocky, but how many D1 football coaches are 100% faithful to their wives do you think?

Coaches wives are like politicians wives, they present a good public image, and enjoy what the lifestyle has to offer.

I just don't think much will ever come of any of this, but I would gladly eat my words.

But how would that hurt Herman's reputation? Because it certainly hasn't affected Dana Holgerson.

The current kids were recruited mostly by "negatively" recruiting against Sumlin. They put a bunch of stuff out there that many of our posters have locked in on.

If Herman becomes the "anti-strong" they could lose many of the kids (current and commits) and most importantly not attract all of the kids they have offered that are committed to UH, TCU, OU, and A&M.

it being revealed that he's got a legit alcohol and or gambling problem or that he's played around on his spouse cannot hurt us

I agree, I was referring to chill98's assertion that the stories surrounding sumlin are horn planted.

But it also likely won't help us. So many coaches have been able to get past similar issues with the help of their school. For example, If we are to believe that Sumlin's alleged drinking problems are real and being used against him in recruiting, then how do we explain the class of 2017?

I just wouldn't count on anything coming out of those rumors, even if they are real and proof is released. It would take someone so terrible at PR/media relations to let this get to them and destroy their reputation.... oh wait! Maybe there is a chance (but not likely).

That dragon cancer strikes again. So terrible. I'm glad her wish was granted so thoroughly. Here's to hoping we figure that sumbitch out before it takes more wonderful young people like Lauren.
