Look, he's a morally bankrupt capitalist that loves America
She's a morally bankrupt career politician that loves herself
I'm happy with Americas choice
Even though they both sucked

And that's fine. That's your choice of picking between the lesser of two evils.
But I still stand by my prior statement. The overall moderate majority got fricked by the extremist minority. They gave us these two deplorable human beings and made us choose between them. And we got nobody else to blame but ourselves. You may be satisfied with settling, but I'm not. Hopefully the Democrats wake up and nominate someone who isn't a dumbass in 2020, because it is too late for us Republicans.

Trump didn't win the Republican nomination with a minority...

13 Million people voted for Trump in the primary in all US States and territories.
There is a total of ~219 Million eligible American voters.
That's about ~5% of the population choosing who the (supposed to be) conservative nominee will be for this country. 5% IS a minority.

3 million more than cared about Romney

In 2012, 9.8 Million voted for Romney vs the 8.6 million who voted for the rest of the Republican field. Romney was +1.2 Million ahead the rest of his opponents.
In 2016, 13 Million voted for Trump vs the 15 Million who voted for just Cruz, Kasich, & Rubio. Trump was 2 Million behind his opponents. BEHIND!
So while it is true that 3 Million more people cared about Trump, it is also true that 2 Million more people didn't care much for him.
Accept it, we got screwed by the extremist minority in the Republican party. (Unless you were a Trump tard since the beginning...then bless your heart.)

Tell us how many voted for Trump in the popular election compared to Romney?

What choice did they have? Look at who ran on the other side. I don't blame people who came out to vote just to keep Hillary out of office. If there was a respectable Democrat on the other side, it would have been a different election. Even the most ardent Trump supporters with half a brain can't deny that.
And before you say "third party candidate", I'll show you the massive amount of people who kept saying "You're wasting your vote". Its highly discouraged to do so by everyone. This is a two candidate country.
As far as how many more have voted for Trump than voted for Romney, you'll have to wait for the final results.

With 98% reporting, Trump has the popular vote of 59.3 Million votes. So you're wrong. it looks like he WON'T be beating Romney's 60.9 million total voters.
And it gets worse; Hillary currently leads popular vote over Trump by 200k votes. So Trump was right. It was a rigged system after all.
Told ya so. There's just no spinning this, so don't even attempt it.

And you aren't? Are you perfectly fine with being forced to choose between two deplorable human beings? The lower overall turnout shows that people weren't excited for these candidates.
What makes this more interesting is that Trump called Romney a "failed candidate". But the dude won't even reach Romney's total. He acted like he would have beaten Obama, but the sad truth is he would had his balls fed to him by Barrack. #MAGA ain't off to a great start already.
But whateva', #MAGA. Grab the White House by the Pussy.
(Before you call me a Hillary Supporter, I would have melted just as bad with that lying career politician, believe me folks. )

And disappointed that neither party offered a worthy candidate

Gary Johnson had over 4 million votes.
Jill Stein had over 1.2 million.
