Yes, 33. But he's not wrong... we DID lose 17 of 23. Worse than that, we lost 17 of 17.

A&M signed 31 in that class, not 23. (30 if you don't count Stewart)

Ricky Seals-Jones: Still in

Justin Manning: "coming back after summer"

Isiah Golden: Dismissed from team

Sebastian Larue: Transfer

Kameron Miles: Dismissed from team

Laquivionte Gonzalez: Dismissed from team

Daeshon Hall: Still In

JaQuay Williams: Transfer

Ishmael Wilson: Transfer

Kenny Hill: Transfer

Noel Ellis: Still In

Kyrion Parker: Transfer

Hardreck Walker: Still In

James White: Still In

Darion Claiborne: Dismissed from team

Tommy Sanders: Graduated

Brett Wade: Still In

Tavares Garner: Still In

Jordan Mastrogiovanni: Retired

Joas Aguilar: Retired

Victor Davis: Still In

Reggie Chevis: Still In

Cameron Clear: Graduated

Jay Arnold: Still In

Shaan Washington: Still In

Jeremy Tabuyo: Still In

Jonathan Wiggins: Still In

Jeremiah Stuckey: Still In

Kohl Stewart: Professional Baseball

That's 18/30 (19/31 if you count Stewart)

Gustafson signed with that class and gray shirted, not sure where he belongs. Sezer was in that class and is still on the team.

I fixed Sezer. I consider Gustafson part of the 2014 class.

In addition to those 31, 12thman.com shows A.J. Hilliard and Alex Sezer Jr.

Yeah Hilliard transferred in so it depends on how people want to count him. Even though he wasn't signed by us as a HS recruit with that class he's still on the team so to me it's no different but whatever. The attrition from that class is not good but we would be completely fricked if we had six guys left

Hilliard is a redshirt junior, so he would count as part of the 2012 class. Same as Edward Pope.

You could reclassify the JUCO guys like Clear then too if you're doing it with Hilliard, it's not any different just because one transferred directly from a D1 school and one came from a JUCO

No, and here's why:

A.J. Hilliard signed a letter of intent with TCU in 2012, then transferred to Texas A&M: Making him part of TCU's 2012 class.

Cameron Clear signed a letter of intent with Tennessee as a HS student, then signed a letter of intent with Texas A&M as a JUCO player.

Kameron Miles is a Boise State signee right now even though he signed with A&M in 2013.

Matt Joeckel wasn't a part of TCU's 2011 recruiting class just as JaQuay Williams wasn't a part of Louisville's 2013 recruiting class, nor was Sebastian Larue a part of Washington State's 2013 recruiting class.

Right, the only difference is dumb semantics. They still impact team depth and scholarship count the same way, regardless of how they came to the team
