Defense deep dicked them dirty tonight and our special teams were cash money. Hopefully the offense was a product of the weather and layoff, but regardless frick LSU.

6-1 and still top-5

I mean this was objectively the worst gameplan Jimbo has had in his time here. We can point to the layoff and weather, but I don't have many positives to draw on this going forward for the offense and two of our three games left are auburn who we traditionally have no idea how to stop when it comes to malzhans Mickey mouse shite and one of the best offenses in the country in ole miss

Anyone know how many players we lost going from 2019 to 2020 due to nfl, graduation, covid, and transfer?

Unfortunately I agree 100%. We regressed back to what we looked like vs Vandy in the first game.

Hope they knock some rust off and play like they did against Florida and USCe, cause Auburn somehow always give us trouble, and that OM can put up points in a hurry. If we play like last night again, we likely won’t go 2-0 or 3-0 to finish up our last games, however many we are able to get in.

It was ugly but when your QB/WRs are playing that poorly and you still win by double digits it's a good day.

I just wish Jimbo had bailed on trying to get Mond going sooner and just ate clock with our RBs. Doing that would have maybe saved the shutout.

I’m not hitting the panic button just yet. I think 21 days off and some of our players not being able to practice for most of it is a big reason why it was ugly. We’ll get rolling again, I have no doubt

It’s important to note that nobody else we play has the personnel to successfully play press man coverage against us all game. LSU has two future first round picks at corner, and combined with the weather and bad Mond that’s not gonna be pretty.

Our receivers had some drops last night too. Wonder if we get a few of those passes back maybe the offense rolls a little smooth? Who knows.

We couldn't BUY a PI call on Jalen. He was wearing Tigers on damn near every target last night smh.

We will win out w/ease. Only potential loss is Auburn

2020 would be the year that things fall right for the Ags... so I fell the CFP is our destiny.

How do you feel about the receivers? They struck me as kinda average. Tbh i had completely forgotten Ausbon had opted out until i saw the lineups.

A W is a W though. See our game vs Auburn last year

Speaking of Auburn...IMO not as bad as they looked yesterday and not as good as they looked vs us. Definitely will be your hardest game. I get why ole miss is scary but their defense makes ours look like the ‘85 bears sometimes.

I agree, the first 3 drives there were some badly missed calls. It was a weird night, I’m still confident in this team!

I’d love to make the playoff but if we make a NY6 bowl that’s a big step forward. And we’re building momentum for next year

Ainias Smith is special. Rare talent. Chase Lane (the new #2--took over the number from Ausbon) is damn solid, but I think LSU schemed him and Jalen well. I don't think we took advantage of the aggressive defense to utilize enough PA/double moves with Smith/Lane (and of course Lane got hurt on that deep ball), but overall I'd tip the cap to the LSU DBs. Our receiving corps overall isn't our biggest strength, but they're not slouches, either.

I'm petrified of that game. We play against them on the road like we played vs. y'all at home, that's an L.

I look at it this way. We played Arkansas after a bye and won by 11. The next week we won on the road by 45.

We played LSU after 2 straight byes and won by 13.
