I hate that they have a puny park which is most likely already sold out. Sucks. But if our pitching continues to do what it's been doing, we'll be more than fine.

Childress now has our team in the supers vs a team we all felt we are better than (or at least more deserving after the regular season). We have racked up 49 wins and we have a chance to get to 50+ and return to Omaha after a 3 year drought. Anyone still want to fire him? This will be his 4th top 16 or better finish in the last 9 years. In those 5 years where he didn't we've been in the regional final (top 32) 3x. Not many teams can say that.

I know people keep bringing it up, but frick Hyman. I'd love to hear how pathetic he sounded in that committee meeting.

My complaint with Childress was always hitting. He solved that problem, even though he should have done it 4 years sooner. He's clearly safe.

We all thought he solved the hitting problem with Sawdog. Did you see how to turned around KSU? He was already loved by the fans. He just needed to come back, but it never come together.

That is true. We can make what looks to be great moves and they don't work or make shitty moves on paper and they are brilliant. Who the hell ever heard of Will Bolt before this year? Not me and he was at A&M in 06-07. Then you make hires like Fran & Torbush which were both supposed to be home runs. If Childress keeps putting our team in opportunities to win it all then that is all I can ask for. Eventually it will happen. The postseason is such a funny thing. The best teams don't always win.
