I was born in MO, lived there just 3 years ago, and went to Mizzou for a year and a half but I still don't like them in the SEC.

Born in Cape Girardeau, dad was in the Army so I spent too much time at Ft. Wood, graduated high school in Waynesville, and I moved here from Jeff City three years ago. Jeff City has to be the worst capitol of any state that place is a shite hole and the people are strange.

True. Jeff City is one of the worst cities in Missouri. You're right, the people there suck.

However, SW Missouri is God's country.

I actually looked at Springfield before I moved here, I like that place it's big enough to have everything you need without the big city hassles.

It's a wonderful city and one of the fastest growing in the state. You're 100 percent right. It's a "small" big city. Population of the city and surrounding suburbs is about 250,000.

Plus, Table Rock Lake (Branson) is only 30 minutes south. Absolutely beautiful lake. My wife and I keep our boat there and spend as many weekends as possible there.

Lake of the Ozarks (party lake) is only 1 hour 25 minutes north.

We're far enough from St. Louis to not have to deal with their shite, but close enough 3 hours to easily travel to a Cardinals game.

SW Missouri (and NW Arkansas) is great!
