Yea it would appear so, not exactly sure what he did but it's been hinted he made some comments against Islam that got him banned. And that would make sense

This has become a monthly affair

For reals though, he better be back soon... or else.

I was just trying to help Cheese out and give us some board action. Besides, I misread the original post as a puppy request (EDIT: Actually I didn't misread since the request was for a puppy fix). And Bluetick pups are the most awesome and adorable of all pups - you know it and I know it.

Don't make me demand a fake Sonic fight. I will cane you senseless like Ole Hickory beating some fool or would be assassin. Prof can get real (well kinda sorta cuz I know you're just picking). Still:

1. Once again, these jokes are getting wayyyyy more reaction that they need
2. Let's get poweraide slushes first, they're awesome
3. When I'm in a fight, I am ALWAYS the most like Old Hickory. I'm named after the guy after all

I was kidding too (we'll eventually get back on the same page). Oh and I'm all for the poweraide slushies as long as we spike them with something good.

I might have to fight you for real though over who gets to be Ole Hickory. Maybe we can just split the difference and find a Bammer or Gator to beat on at the Sonic?

Puppies in general are hard to beat. Even ugly doggies usually make adorable puppies.

Speaking of puppies... We've got some pitties at the bottom of the ridge and I have half a mind to ask the neighbor for one. I'm just not sure I'm ready for the responsibility of a new dog. Outdoor cats (we have a small group of mousers/barn cats that hang out around the house) are so much lower maintenance.

The last 'dog' I had was a few years ago and we wasn't so much a dog as a wolf and damn protective of me. I miss that guy and his siblings.

If you are in the hills of E TN get some skunks. They hang with cats and eat cat food. Aside from watching for rabies they are great fun when unwelcome visitors come on your property. Skunks get protective if they think you belong in their group and are mighty protective when a robber tries to sneak in late at nite. As for watchdogs, peahens are the best alarm system out there.

Unless you know some way of de-stink-a-fying with my luck I'd be the one getting skunk sprayed. Well me or the car

We do have some raccoons that show up on occasion - they hung out a lot last year but I haven't seen them this year (I think they like coming here in the fall tho). Tripped me the hell out because I opened the door and one just looked at me like 'hey, would you mind putting some more food out?' I could've bent down and petted him and he wouldn't have minded even though at the time I'd never seen him before. The cats would sit there and eat with them like they were all one group.

What was crazy though is at least two of the raccoons I've seen up here have been a deep red! And I mean a deep red. It may sound dumb but I didn't know raccoons had that color variety until I saw them. I'd seen raccoons all my life but never red ones until those two. They are amazing looking - way better looking than your standard grayish brown ones.

The only problem with them is they like to get on the car.

When we had the wolves no one snuck up on us. Mine was monster sized (took after his grandsire) and when he, his siblings, and mother would howl in unison it would echo off the ridge. Every dog within a few miles would start barking and/or attempting to howl.

I say attempting because once you've heard real wolves howl in a pack hearing dogs howl is like hearing a kid try to imitate an adult - similar but not the same at all.

I miss my wolves. :-(

When they become part of the barn cat pack they won't spray you. Just like the cats they will come up and rub on your legs. Not saying I want them in my house, but they make okay yard pets.

@Cheese - That's crazy. Never in a million years would I have guessed that about skunks but I suppose it makes sense after seeing the cats interact with the raccoons that certain animals will act like the rest of the 'pride' or 'pack' once they become a part of it.

@Wishnitwas1998 - Alright since you're low energy right now. How bout we go the Tyler Bray route and get drunk on our slushies, find a good balcony or high place, and pelt our enemies with bottles? We can even use piss balloons for any Gators we find since they enjoy those so much. Sound good?

The exception is if they have a litter and the mom gets stressed out but as long as you stay calm and don't get between them you should be good. they really do like cat food tho.
