Well, after last year's shitshow we're in a situation where we have to prove we're any good before anyone will believe it. SOV syndrome. I think we'll be greatly improved, but then I've been fooled before.

Doesn't help any that they are returning a Senior QB who led the nation in passing yards (4,830) and TD passes (49) last year. We'll find out Thursday whether Mason can coach the Vandy D to stop a high-powered offense, since that's what his reputation was built on at Stanford...

Vandy actually opened at -2. A 4 point shift is huge.

And WKU is still getting ~ %60 of the bets.

Thanks for the heads up, if the return is right I might just put some money on Vandy to cover that one

Looks like 2 point underdog was about right. Such a frustrating game though...

Defense looked much better. I have no idea what they were doing on offense though.

Didn't they just hire some dude from Wiscy? I guess maybe they were growing pains of installing a new offense?

Anyway, I'm not one to shite on Vandy. I usually pull for them when they aren't playing UT.

Light years better on defense, but only modest improvement on the offensive side. QB needs to grow a lot in reading defenses and avoiding stupid throws, line is hurting from the shuffle following the Jelks injury (flopped RT to LT and inserted a youngster as RT), and only one real threat at WR (Sherfield) following the Duncan injury. That said, it was still worlds better than the opening debacle last year.
