Huge getting Thomas. Last I checked Tennessee was being projected top 5 in 2019 and 2020 for instate talent. Thomas will play a big role in locking down the state.

Expect Rush Propst to be considered for some position, even if it is not one of the 10 official roles. Propst was the Head coach at Hoover High when Pruitt coached there and Sherrer was a Spain Park High. I heard from a College QB coach today that he expects Propst to join Pruitt at UT. Years ago, Propst was going to join the Bama staff but had a PR issue and left the state of Alabama. He is a well known name throughout the SE

Lots of chatter amongst Georgia folks that Propst will be WR coach. Very interesting hire if true. Guy can certainly coach, but he has a checkered past. He is not popular amongst Georgia high school coaches.

So Austin Thomas may not be on staff here after all. Sounds like Tennessee wants to nerf his role, but Thomas wants all the responsibilities he had at LSU.

Lol I refuse to ignore any red flags this time around. Have wasted way too much time on this football program to just explain away any and all shortcomings.

I refuse to get worked up over whether a front office guy comes here or not. I’m betting his demands were too much, aka wanting to be Pruitt’s boss or something of that nature.

I think the real issue here is that Phil and Pruitt are already stepping on each other’s toes.
