A figure that transcends life and sport. I am filled with pride knowing that our University and state will forever have the privilege of being associated with her name.

She was one of the best coaches I've seen in any sport. She will be missed.

Respect. What a great human being. She made women's basketball fun to watch, and that is a big deal.

This was taken yesterday in Knoxville. Very powerful image. I like to think it was Pat's way of letting us know she is free and at peace in heaven.

I still can't come to grips with this. We lost someone who was truly great, someone who touched many lives, and who transcended the game in every way imaginable. RIP Coach Summitt. The world is poorer without you in it.

64 years old. frick this disease. She could easily still have another 10-15 years on the bench, filtered with 1500 victories and challenged Wooden's national title record had this disease not robbed her. Been thinking about how shitty life has been for Tyler the past few months. Sure he fricked up, but my god the guy is still only 25 years old. Hopefully he can find peace, forgiveness and redemption at whatever he sets out to do.
