Richmond has been banged up and Tatum and Kendrick are likely to start game 1 at tackle, just as I've been saying for a couple weeks.

This rumor that those 3 will miss the GT game has been out there since before spring ball started and is false.

Tatum starting is dangerous for Richmond. He has a ton of talent and imo, a higher ceiling.

As for the rumors... shite like this follows other team's suspensions. People get paranoid and become easy as hell to troll.

That said, LWS is saying there will be suspensions and we just need to wait until CBJ names them but he's not as connected to the program as he used to be. Whatever the case, we should be fine for the opener.

One possible suspension not multiple from what I've heard.

With the appeals and other things they can do I would not even count on that.

Players fail drug tests all the time. Publicizing who it is and how many they've failed is over the line imo unless it has an impact on Saturdays.

Good to hear. I guess Richmond was one of the main ones being talked about when they mentioned the oline being banged up. Really sucks because he needs all the reps he can get before Florida.

Where are you getting your info that it is false? VQ seems to think it's true.

Hope you are correct. It baffles me how these young men can blow their shots at a free education and possible NFL careers for stupid stuff.

We will see. The rumor has been out there for months on these guys but Kirkland/McKenzie are not suspended game 1 I am pretty confident in saying. Have also said consistently not to expect Richmond for at least GT.

I think you'll hear something relatively soon to clear this up.

From Austin Price at VQ:

After talking to multiple people in the last little bit, we don't believe Dormady is injured. He took a shot, but we were told there is no concern there, but we will continue to check on it.

That's what I figured, getting blown out of proportion. But that's the double-edged sword of limited media availability. You think it allows you to control the narrative but the limited info just leads to rumors and minor events (suspensions, injuries, etc) getting distorted and steamrolling into major deals.

I'm not trying to be unreasonable but how do you even allow the QB to be hit at all during intrasquad practice?

I mean I understand football is chaotic and sometimes things happen but I don't believe for a second that someone like Tom brady is even breathed on in practice

Of course QD isn't Tom Brady but still

IIRC, people said it was a wrist hit. Would bet money that's a helmet to the wrist or just incidental contact.

Ahhhhhh that would make sense

I feel like a jackass for not considering the possibility of something like that
