Last time UK played UT in October was 1909 and Keeneland had not opened their gates for business yet. Any thoughts on playing the series a month or so earlier?

Just makes it very weird BUT also makes it blessedly warmer. I've always said visiting Lexington when we do tends to be HELL. I'm not the only one who thinks this either. I don't know what it is about UK's stadium that is just freezing when we tend to play -- tis crazy.

I doubt it matters much for the teams tho since playing keeps you much warmer but it's a welcome relief for fans to KY's South.

Might be a good thing cause I've long believed our ending the season for years with USCe/VANDY/UK is part of the reason for our less than stellar bowl record. Not the whole reason obviously but might have something to do with it

You are not alone, those 2 weeks at the end can get downright nasty. October is usually pretty safe weather wise which is why Keeneland runs then but shuts down before November.
