It's been a long time coming for the kid. Happy to finally see him get some good pass pro and play calling to throw all over what was a very good AU pass defense going into the game. We still have got to get more creative on first down, but Germy bringing Helton down on the field seemed to pay off in spades. Luckily for us, it looks like that's the route they'll be moving in going forward. Official highlights from UT Football's youtube page below:

Very happy to be getting UK and Missouri @ home this year. This may be one of the first times in my life I'm looking forward to playing (Hopefully a ranked) UK at home.

I'd love to see them beat UGA in a few weeks tbh.

If we can keep JG healthy I think every game left on the schedule is winnable (minus Bama). Both defense and offense have been improving game to game.

I certainly didn't feel that way a few weeks ago.

Any good attorneys here? I’ll need one if we somehow beat Bama

We're all going to need one to fight the arson charges after we burn this bitch to the ground.

After rewatching highlights, the WRs were as on fire as JG. They were in sync. It's also great finally having a healthy JJ out there. He blocks like bustin heads is his favorite hobby in life, comes up with big plays and fires his teammates the hell up. We've needed that.

I hope Palmer keeps playing the way he's been playing. He's the best at getting separation.

Agreed, we've got some serious playmakers on offense. If we had the O-line of '13 we would be absolutely dominating right now. Hopefully, Pruitt can take a big step in that direction with recruiting and player development this year so we can truly see how good this offense can be.

Hopefully, now that the offense has seen that they can make big plays, they'll make more of them. Last year's O was so awful that I think a lot of players came into this season expecting to fail. After a season like last year, it's hard to get out of thinking you're doomed to fail.

That said, I wish we were playing anyone other than Bama this week. Would be nice to build on the confidence boost immediately.

The one thing that I think gives us a boost is that this might as well be a completely different team from the one that lost to WVU and UF earlier in the season. Yeah, someone the same issues exist, ie mediocre O-line play. But mentally, these guys are different. They just beat a team that was a 15 point favorite. That's gotta make them feel like they can play with just about anybody. I think VOLS play better than most expect. I do not expect a win, but I definitely expect them to cover.

First time we've seen nice throw and catches in a while. That was great to watch. JG, Chandler, Callaway, Jennings, and Palmer all looked like big play makers on Saturday. Jennings is still a mean SOB. I wish we had about 5 more of him

JJ is the Al Wilson of offense. I absolutely love everything about him and I agree except I'd order up at least 11 more.
