I vouched for him too. The Star Killz stuff was pretty stupid, and some stuff before that was annoying.
Recently, I've enjoyed his posts and the conversation he brings. Kills can be entertaining, as well as bringing some good actual sports talk occasionally.

What boards should have more of. Trolling seems counterproductive to these efforts and even after being here for such a short time this board may be one of the best so far at having conversations. I stopped reading the ESPN comments section altogether a few years ago because of all the terrible Uconn folks after the Lady Vols played a game. It just sucked the life out of what could have been good sports talk.

You do realize that Semo and I are the two of the oldest Mizzou posters on here and that I'm very cordial with Ms. Semo, right?
You seem to keep reminding me to be thankful to Semo as if I'm unaware of her presense...as if I have no clue who she is, when in fact that assumption couldn't be more false.
Semo and I helped make the Mizzou SECr fan base what it is today...one of the most respected and knowledgable group of posters on the rant.
You do want access to the Mizzou Board, right? Don't forget that I too have influence on that board. If you want access, I recommend that you change your tone towards me.

I agree with this! This board needs new blood to give it a little life and I am all for letting others in (except DaleDenton or any Vandy fans). It would be nice to have a active board to discuss issues that we won't discuss with the rest of the Rant.

You are not understanding the bigger picture. You are Sean Penn and Semo is Robert Duvall in "Colors" when it comes to the scene about the cows. Sometime action is in order and sometimes stopping to listen to what is actually being said is the better course of action.
The key is to find the balance and assuming something which I do not believe at all means you are not listening to the message being conveyed. In public forums sometimes it can be all about you in the short term but long term this is a friction creating position that can become untenable and leads to eventual destruction. Sometimes you can be the lone feline and sometimes you have walk in the path of the pack.
Sometimes it is good to walk in the dogprints to understand the dog. Free your mind and your butt will follow.

I do not desire access to boards for my own self enjoyment but seek to drive discussions integrating the jewels of an individual school in the crown of the overall conference. If the folks on the Mizzou board see and accept this they will add me. If they do not it will not upset me. Good conversation in my book does not always equate with being in a popularity contest or always being the center of attention. Just because the internet is such serious business tho does not mean it is not enhanced with humor.

New to site as a whole, trying to figure out how it works, but it seems entertaining...may not always post a lot, but I come drama free with a little good natured ribbing...but for fun only.
My question is; if folks can lurk, post, up/down (like/dislike equivalent I suppose)...,then why do they need to have access to the board granted?
Either way, would enjoy hanging out with Vol Brethren, and tolerable fans of other teams...
