I'm feeling it again, and I say 9 wins.
Losses to Bama and one other.
What say ya?

I think we will lose to Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Missouri. 7-5 :(

Same record I've had us at all year.
Looking for 8-4. I still think we're the 2nd best team in the East behind UGA. Brutal loss on Saturday, but I had that game as one of my 4 losses pre season anyways so not much had changed on that front.

I'm still at 8-4. Like TRUE said, terrible loss Saturday. This team will still win some games...too much talent not to.

I'm broken, guys. I just have a very bad feeling that things are going to get worse if we lose to Florida.

You've put in work on tRant the last couple of days. Things could get bad if we lose to UF again, but I don't see this team quitting. I also don't see the staff quitting because I think they might be too dumb to know how.
I think we should all be pissed off about Saturday, but we aren't even in conference play yet.

That was such a bad loss. I'm just as disgusted now as I was Saturday night.
A good coach would've won that game by 3 touchdowns imo. We were done when Ellis dropped the touchdown and Medley missed the FG. That was our shot to finish them and we blew it. I was watching on tv and they zoomed in on Lyle gritting his teeth immediately after and you could just see it on his face that he was going to play not to lose.
I believe teams take on the personality of their coach and it's not a coincidence that Tennessee's players looked shellshocked in the 4th quarter. Stoops and his players knew Tennessee was not going to step on their necks and finish the job.

TL;DR
I just do not think the coaches or the players have the resolve to win big games when the going gets touch and the chips are down.

i knew it when we pussed out first drive and settled for a fg from the one after we had hurd standing on the sideline on 3rd and one with kamara in

What a bitch move that was. You hand it to Hurd on 3rd down and if he doesn't get it, you do it again on 4th down. Even if we didn't get it, there is no way that Baker Mayfield's rattled arse was marching 99 yards down the field at that point of the game.

9-3 lose to Bama and UGA, but UGA drops 2 games and we go to ATL.

Wish I had your optimism, but there's no way i predict 9-3 after the garbage we witnessed Staturday.
I honestly think we'll be lucky to win 8 regular season games now.

How would we go to Atlanta in that scenario? Georgia would own the tiebreaker

I said before the season I thought best was 8-4 and worst was 7-5, I still think this

Not if they have two in conference loss (my bad I forgot to put that they drop 2 of Mizzou/UF/USCe/UK)

I don't think it's optimism. We played lights out for 3 quarters against on of the better passing offenses on our schedule and put up 13 points against one of the best defenses we'll face all season. While the fashion in which we lost sucks, you take away one of those key third down penalties, missed tackles on Mayfield, or make that 48 yrd field goal and we have a completely different outcome.
UF - they seem suspect, we'll see for sure against UK but after their game against ECU I'm not too worried.
Arkansas - seems to have to actually derailed. They've lost key players and I see a W.
UGA - this one will be close as it's been the past two years. If both go into it at full strength i see UGA winning but again this game is always insanely close.
Bama - I think we're still another year away from being legit competitive in this game, especially since it's away.
UK - we own them
USCe - same, they are not good
Mizzou - I think we buck the trend and beat them this year. They seem a little down, with this squad I see us walking out with a W
Vandy - lol
So that's 9-3 (assuming we stay healthy) I could also see us beating UGA and losing to Mizzou or something like that. I think we get the offensive play calling together and our D looks stellar. I think 8-4 is also possible and I wouldn't be overly disappointed.

We still lost. Moral Victory U

If we have two conference losses - one of which is to UGA - and they have two conference losses - neither of which are to us - then they win the tiebreaker and go to Atl.

I see no reason why you can't beat every East team if Butch doesn't screw it up.
