Not going to lie- with all of the injuries, I am getting pretty nervous.

Do you think we will see more of Fils-Aime or Kelly with Kamara this weekend? Both, and they stick with who is moving the ball? Both only have like 2 or 3 carries this year.

I fear Trevor Knight is going to run all over us. Georgia ran for almost 200 yards. Jumper and McDowell going to have to try to contain the best they can.

I actually feel pretty damn good. Don't know why, and given the circumstances, probably shouldn't, but I do.

Hopelessly optimistic I think we come all out tomorrow and play our first complete game with our backs against the wall

I've been calm about this game all week, but I know I shouldn't. We could play a complete game and win easily or fall flat on our faces. A&M has the talent and we are facing probably the best receiving corps we will see all year, a lot will depend on which Trevor shows up.

Seriously tho, my feels today have been strange. Confident one minute that despite the injuries, VOLS play their most complete game of the season and win by double digits. Then the feels pendulum quickly swings to a 20 point loss because we are missing just too many key players.

I wasn't too terribly concerned we'd lose until today, all the injuries are killing us and I feel like we will have to play almost perfectly to win

Losing Hurd on top of our injuries on D is a gut punch. We need to see if we can exploit the Hurricane rule like Florida did and play another week when we're healed.

In all seriousness, losing Hurd is bad. We can survive it I guess but it won't be easy. There's a tipping point with injuries and we may be getting to close to that edge.

I see this one as a loss that might not be very close at the end. I think the defense ultimately gives up too many big plays, Dobbs plays well but has a couple of turnovers trying to make plays.

Good news is, I don't really give a shite because VOLS have already beaten UGA and UF. I expected to have a couple of losses and that should be the case as long as November goes like it should.

I would love to see a complete game with UT beating their frick, I just don't see it happening.

I mean, as an A&M fan, you couldn't ask for a better lay up than this.

Opponent coming off 2 emotional wins.
Home field advantage.
3 all SEC defenders out, plus a viable backup in Sapp, plus possibly Abernathy, PLUS JALEN frickING HURD.

I mean, there should be no way you don't win by at least 2 scores.

That's what I'm saying. Historically, every time we've had circumstances line up to where so much is there for the taking if we win a game we SHOULD win, we jack around and figure out how to say, "thanks, but no thanks."

I just want a good game. We'll see what happens, I guess.

I'm not really nervous. I know it's going to be tough sledding and knew it was going to be tough sledding even before the injuries. No use in getting worked up about it.

If we lose, then that's what was expected. If we win...well, then maybe the Vols really ARE a team of destiny.

I wish we could get a free bye week like Florida got, though.

I feel pretty good about. Monkey off the back with Florida, beat UGA last week.

This team has found a way to win 11 in a row. They will find a way to Sat. Plus, it's Chavis D vs backups. We know how this story is going to go.

I'm feeling good. Although the injuries hurt, it gives aTm a look they haven't seen on tape/able to study. Their defense (our big worry) now has to consider Mr. Joshua Dobbs to be a threat for the long ball after the UGA game. Señor Alvin Kamara hasn't had many touches lately, I think that the aTm defense has been prepping for Hurd, while Kamara gets to eat all day. We've lost Hurd's pass protection, though but we just have to do without for this week (hopefully). Hurd comes back rested and recovered for Bama.
