Gatlinburg under evacuation due to wild fires

I don't know of even posters here who are from Gatlinburg but prayers sent to everyone there. Lord willing this rain will speed on up and take care of this

Terrible stuff. My brother-in-law left this morning to head thatway to fight it. They had him in NC last week.

You folks stay safe. My dad's side of the family is from East Tennessee so I genuinely have a love for things up there.

Had to evacuate my house Monday night in Mynatt park which is right next to the Park Vista. Fire everywhere as we were heading out. I think our house is still intact but that is just rumors at this point. Over 100 houses gone in the area along with plenty of businesses. Know of a girl who turned 16 that day and had her house burned down. Overall just not good right now
