Does the Volboard think Butch will be able to improve as an in game coach?

I've seen several people say that Butch is young in being a coach (smells of bullshite to me, football is football whether there's a 100k in the stands or 10k) and that these late game situations will improve as he gains experience.

Personally, I don't think it is something that gets better. You either understand how to stay calm and manage a two minute offense or you don't and it's clear from Saturday Butch/staff don't but I would like to hear yalls opinions

Well, I got better at NCAA 14 as I played it more, so I guess it's possible.

Butch should probably play this for a bit in different scenarios.

Use his chart and see if it works out better listening to it or ignore it.

Jones is 47...so he's older than me...so I'm not going to call him a young coach. Here are some other "young" coaches:

Gus Malzahn - 49
Bret Bielema - 45
Mark Stoops - 48
Hugh Freeze - 46
Dan Mullen - 43
Justin Fuente - 39
Dabo Swinney - 45
Jimbo Fisher - 49
Kliff Kingsbury - 36
Dana Holgorsen - 44
James Franklin - 43
Sonny Dykes - 45
Steve Sarkisian - 41

Butch is not a young coach...

No, but I think as this team matures it will win some games and negate the coaching deficiencies because some of our young guys are studs.

JMO, but i thought all phases were good for 3.5 quarters. Play calling was good and defense was alright for the most part. They tighten up just like Jones during the crucial situations.

Well it's always been said a team takes the personality of its coach....
