Are you serious, fans already calling for Butch's head? That is sad, any new coach needs time to get his system in place and find the right parts to make it work.
Personally I think Butch is your best hire since Fulmer left, but patience is needed.
I just looked at your schedule, and it's similar to UK's. You have a OOC this week, then 3 tough games in a row, but the schedule softens in the last 1/3 of the season (on the fence with Auburn), and all of those games are winnable.
UK has the same thing, brutal stretch with UL/Florida/USC/Bama, then it softens a bit (except for Georgia).
I think Tennessee needs to view this season like UK fans do, see steady progress as the season continues.
Keep the faith Vols fans!

The only ones calling for his head are the retards. Unfortunately, there's a lot of them in our fanbase

I'm impressed with everything that he's done so far, and saw definite improvement from the team outside of Peterman nuking the 1st half.
Once he gets a QB who can run his offense, this team is going to show a huge improvement. Worleys going to have to manage and maintain this team until one of the two freshmen step into their role. Defense looked a lot better then last year, outside of a few plays that we took bad angles on and let them score. He's gonna get it turned around, but we know it takes time.

His recruiting is going well so far so I am confident he will fix the crappy tackling slow D, QB is my biggest concern right now because it can set you back for a long time.
