Anyone worried about a letdown this weekend in Athens? They are in almost the same position we were in last year when we had the emotional come from behind win to turn our season around. I do think we should win comfortably but I have a bad feeling about this one... someone talk me from the edge

Upperclassmen and senior leaders. They haven't won anything yet. Not worried about too much of a letdown. Get in and get out with a win.

Yeah that's kind of where I'm at... it's just been so long since we've not only beaten Florida but just dismantled them and I hope they're finally ready to be the hunted and not the hunter

It really is a one game season. UGA this week and then the next week becomes the most important. I can't even think about the TAMU game or even Bama yet.

Yeah that's gotta be the mindset. One week at a time. We MUST win this to get to Atlanta

This is the goal. You get to Atlanta and then you can do bigger things.

Jesus, if we beat UGA and then get TAMU and Bama the next two weeks. My God.

I have a feeling this team knows how to win now and obviously they do not get rattled by adversity like the 2015 VOLS.

I do think Georgia will come out ready to play with their backs against the wall. Their chances of making it to Atlanta will basically be gone with a loss to VOLS.

I just hope we can take one of A&M or Alabama but I'm not sure without our defensive leaders. Has there been any word on their returns?

I expect it to be a hard fought, well played game by both sides. I do think that UT should win though.

The way this team has played for a significant portion of the season I will remain permanently worried

I expect this to be a very close and tough game, no idea who will win

I'm hoping we can get Kirkland back by A&M. Wasn't that the original timeline?

I'm more worried about JRM. He couldn't have been out there Saturday for more than 10 plays iirc

I'm not too worried about JRM as he was at least trying to give it a go and did get a few snaps in.We need Kirkland back by A&M. Is Sutton out for the year?

I think Sutton is done for the year unless he comes back for the playoffs :)

JRM it sounds like will get better with time.

Kirkland is running in a pool already. I say we ride with who we have until he is ready to come back healthy.

UGA is totally in disarray from all accounts. Hard to think the Vols could fall so low as to lose this game.

Also, I would hope that the coaches have been selling this as a two-fer. Short term goal not met if you don't win both against UF and UGA.

Sutton is out 6-8 weeks before he can begin rehab. It really depends on how fast the bone heals and then go from there. He could be back by the end of the regular season, maybe for the last 2-3 games of the year and ATL if we get there.

That sucks... he deserves every bit of praise that everyone else is getting as he has been a huge part is this rebuild. I hope he can come back sooner than expected and prepare for the draft

I thought he was done. He's been out 1 week and then 5 weeks from now is after South Carolina. No reason to play him vs. Tennessee Tech. If he rehabs he could come back and be ready by the last regular season game.

Yeah Change Hall came back much quicker than expected so I'm still holding out hope we can get him for Vandy and then the ATL if we make it

Total disarray? We're bad but not that bad.

If you can get the passing game working you'll win big.
