Couldn't have picked a worse player to lose during a worse stretch. At least he is set to come back this year. When I saw the replay I thought he broke his ankle.

Josh Smith is on crutches and will for sure be out this weekend. Time for young Tyler Byrd to get some PT

I'm hoping that when Jumper plays like dogshit against Ohio, Butch and Shoop decide "to hell with this" and slide JRM over to the middle and put McDowell at WLB. Thereby getting Jumper the frick off the field to minimize horrendous defensive mistakes in UT's biggest game in a long time on 9/24.

It sounds like, after listening to Butch's PC, Elliot Berry will get a shot to fill in at the MLB position. Hopefully he plays well enough to lock down the position for the next month or so. Jumper isn't, and never will be, the solution.

More like wtf Thig, Jancek, and Shoop. They're the ones that have been responsible for Jumper and the MLB position in general.

The question is what the frick is Jumper doing in practice that keeps convincing different coaches that he's our best option at number 2?

Can't be any worse than Jumper. Plus he's a Berry bro

Gavin Bryant, Cortez McDowell, Jakob Johnson moved back to LB, and just fricking playing DKjr with an ankle sprain also would all be better options than Jumper.

God I hope you're right. Not only do I love having a Berry on defense but I also love not starting Jumper. I think the extent of Jumper's talents are as depth player when the starter needs a breather and a game is well in hand but that's as far as his talent takes him. He's just not fast enough to be a MLB in this conference.

Also doesn't tackle well enough, isn't strong enough, gets out of position too much, etc. etc.
