Not a horror story but Raekwon McMillan's family wanted him at Ohio State so he left the 2013 Iron Bowl to go to his hotel at his mom's urging

I do not believe Auburn would send the kid home for smoking weed. Nick Marshall got arrested for having weed on him this year and is still on the team. I don't think Auburn's coaches make a big deal about a player or recruit smoking weed. I think the bigger deal was the kid was rep'ing UTk while on the visit, and that's the primary reason they sent him home.

I know what a clown, it had to be half man, half bear, and half pig DNA for it to work

I cannot understand why anyone would want to be so disespectful to another team and coaching staff. If you cant go and enjoy the free trip and attention that staff is going to give you without going full retard then don't go.

Agreed. Besides, if I was on an OV and some other Johnny Tryhard was acting like an arse and trying to get the rest of us to flip to his school it would turn me off. I think that shite probably backfires more than it's effective.

Not an SEC story or OV, but just got a notification about this on my phone

LINK

quote:

Neal’s father, Abraham Hoskins Jr., told his side of the story on 1620 The Zone in Omaha. Per MLive:

“Michigan was a powerhouse, they came in and they stormed us, they made one bad statement and it was over,” Hoskins told 1620 on air. “They said without football, Daishon wouldn’t be able to go to Michigan. Like we couldn’t afford to send him there, or that we couldn’t get him in academically.

“Once he said that, we pretty much escorted him out of the house.”

I love that gif. That's a damn cute dog. Much better looking than the bulldogs and collie in the SEC.

Dominique Wheeler showed up to A&M with his whole family sporting these crazy graphic tees of his face.

He was expecting to be showered with love on the visit and commit at the end with his family in attendance but Sherman and staff ignored him because of his shenanigans and he ended up keaving early I believe. I think he ended up going to Tech or OSU then transferring

Didn't a TCU recruit blow the whistle on how the whole team was doing drugs? They ended up catching a bunch on the test afterward.

There were rumors it was Edward Pope, who plays receiver for us now

It was something like he went to a party and told his parents that it didn't go well and this was why, and his parents brought it up with Patterson was the story I heard. Who knows if it's true

A Milwaukee suburb sports "star" that didn't listen to the girl saying no at her dorm room and got into legal trouble. Don't remember if he ended up doing time or not and don't care look it up. I do know he wasn't allowed to play football for Wisky.

Louis brown is committed to texas, he shows up in Austin two weeks ago and hangs out with his brother or cousin or friend, they end up going to a strip club and doing other shite, he meets with strong and he tells him he has lost his spot and is sent home early. I think he just committed to Oklahoma state

Florida State: I ordered a steak and a lobster tail. The lobster tail was like $49.99. I couldn't believe something so little could cost so much. The steak didn't even have a price. The menu said something about market value. I was kind of embarrassed so I didn't order a lot. 'But then I saw what the other guys were ordering, I was like, `Forget this.' I called the waiter back and told him to bring me four lobster tails, two steaks and a Shrimp Scampi. It was good. I took two boxes back with me to the hotel.'' They had jerseys with our names on it. They even had my No. 17. I told them `Isn't that number retired for [Heisman winner] Charlie Ward? Coach Bowden was like, `For you Willie, we'll bring it back.'

' Miami: Coach Larry Coker picked him up at his Carol City home in a white Cadillac Escalade, then put Williams up at the Mayfair House Hotel in Coconut Grove. Williams' room featured a jacuzzi on his balcony. Following the campus visit, the recruits boarded a bus with the coaching staff and headed for the Orange Bowl ... ''We'd get to a red light and I would hold on because the bus driver would just take it,'' he said. 'I was thinking the bus driver was crazy. Coach Coker was like, `Willie, we've got police escorts.'

" Auburn: ''The girls at the party were much better than the farmer girls we'd see all day around campus,'' Williams said. ``I was kind of worried all Auburn had to offer was those farmer girls that talked funny. But the girls at the party weren't farmer girls at all. I thought they must have bused them in from Miami.''

Florida: ''I ate so many meatballs, the people there started looking like meatballs ... 'The first night I was OK with eating at the stadium. But when they told me we're going to eat there again, I was a little disappointed. I was like, `Take us to Red Lobster or something.' That's when I pretty much made up my mind. I can't live in a place that don't have any restaurants. What am I going to do — fly home to eat shrimp?''

damn, that was a great read. thanks for posting.
