And they never will. UGA football consistently ranges from mediocre-good, but never great. It's how they like it.

No shite as it no longer exists.

But considering that your AD is in deep debt and one of your main boosters is under IRS investigation, I would worry about your own house.

I like seeing TN pull in some good talent. Just don't pull an A&M defense on the field and suck balls. You still need to develop these kids to be good on the field.

And Tennessee is still hanging on to something that happened 16 years ago. A time when all of these recruits you're so excited for were in diapers and drinking Similac. They were in second grade the last time that Tennessee was consistently relevant. So congratulations!

"Consistently relevant"

Georgia fans aren't still clinging to their last national championship. It was a very long time ago. Just like Tennessee's.

Shhh don't remind UT fans the last time they had a winning season that their coach was Kiffin. Let them have their recruiting championships.

You do realize that every single team in top8 recruiting played for a national title in the BCS era? Well UGA was the only one that didn't. Recruiting matters a whole damn lot. It's not enough to get just one good class. But if you want to play for the title, win conference titles, or even just compete in the SEC you better have consistent top classes.

Go ahead and stick your head in the sand about it but it's great time to be a Vol - recruiting battles set the stage for real ones. Simple as that.

It just gets old hearing how dominate Tenn is at recruiting, but what have you done with it? Everyone knows stars aren't everything, but you guys act like yall won the national championship or something.

Gets old? We just started recruiting great again last year. I don't know who you've been talking to.

I get tired of hearing fans keep saying how UT is finally turning it around, when they aren't. Butch Jones is just the flavor of the week and it'll only take a couple more losing seasons for the fans to get in an uproar again, then he will get fired and the cycle starts back over.

Well you can get tired of hearing it all you want. He's doing just fine. And trust us we know the difference between a terrible coach (Dooley), a mediocre coach (Kiffin - his recruiting class was bust city tho), and a good one (Fulmer - HOF coach). We've seen the progress those who haven't watched our program haven't seen. And it's night and day.

We're recruiting at again like Fulmer did (before he got a bit lazy at that), we're starting to see depth at our skill positions, but we can't help what Dooley didn't bother with (e.g not a single lineman recruited in 2012 despite him knowing he'd have seniors in 2013 and only one other school in all of college football not taking a lineman and that's just scratching the surface).

Of Dooley's 2012 class, only 11 players remain (2012!) and only a few will see the field (less than half) - we played walkons and true frosh over them last year and will likely play true frosh in outrageous numbers this year.

Yet despite that, playing WALK ONS and True Frosh last year we saw a better coached team on the field that was out-talented all over the field except in a few spots. So if you're tired of it - ignore it but it won't stop because we are seeing results. We know it won't be this year either. do you know how damn hard it is when you're fielding a JV team (more freshman than sophomore) against everyone else's sophomores, juniors and seniors, many of those redshirts you can add another year to? THAT is what we're facing. A roster where CBJ, entering his second season, has already been at UT longer than OVER HALF the damn roster.

Yet despite all those obstacles we see a better coached team and outstanding talent coming in and UT will go nowhere without that talent but it will go upwards with it. So pardon me while I remind you once more, it IS finally turning around and any non-biased observer that's paid much attention would tell you the same.

When is the last time a SEC team led it's conference in recruiting rankings in consecutive years, and also had consecutive losing seasons immediately after those classes?
