This thread is off based. Fact remains that until Freeze got here Bama, Auburn, TN, and LSU had pick of the litter.
Freeze is a special person and is able to grab these kids with more than sunshine. Nutt deserves some credit. He got 9 out of the top 12 in MS his second year. Actually he got lucky because the top MS recruit decided they wanted to play together and Ole Miss won out over State because we have history of a national championship whereas State doesn't. That and they just didn't vibe Mullen.
Freeze picked up on that theme and threw in a National scope to recruiting. Again we owe Nutt credit for landing DK in order for Freeze to land RK. Without last years class we would not have the credibility to make the argument that Ole Miss is on the rise. Last year exceeded expectations and beating TX and LSU this year feeds the fire.
Freeze is truly a cold blooded killer on the recruiting trail. Comparing him to Saban is like comparing a Senator to a Mayor. Truthfully who would you rather have a beer with? Freeze wins the family like no other.

Because LA has WAAAAY more 4 and 5 star recruits than MS. Love how all the reb fans will make this about Freeze locking down on his territory and Miles not able to. Fact of the matter is...when you are a astate that produces as much talent as LA....or TX and FL for that matter, you cant sign them all and are going to have some go out of state. Check out this article about top talent producing states. Do you see MS anywhere on this list?

Saban will go down as one of the GOAT. He had a great run at Alabama.
