Torrance Gibson is Terelle Pryor reincarnate. With a shitty arm.

Honestly ... one of our current commits, Shameik Blackshear (6-5 240 4.5 DE) is probably the freak of this class. Runs like Clowney except stronger. Not quite the first step Clowney has. Blackshear was a consensus #1 recruit until he decided to commit early as a sophomore and took the suspense out of his choice - plus he separated a shoulder his Junior season last year.

In addition to defensive end and linebacker, Blackshear will play tailback, tight end and wide receiver this season.

“I’d like to see him healthy so he could really train to see how good he can get,” (Coach) Cribb said. “I think he can be as good of a player in the nation as there is. I think he can be No. 1 (again).”

His early commitment to the Gamecocks had the desired effect: Coaches stopped coming by the school en masse, and his phone stopped being inundated.

“It’s perfect,” he said. “I can just focus on me without people hitting me up.”

Blackshear said he hears the most from USC and Florida State, with mail still coming from Alabama.

Wears #7 like his buddy Clowney:

Malik ran a 4.6 if not worse recently. I would Have loved malik
In our class but to compare him to Percy is not fair for Malik.

If anyone is this year's Percy, its Taj Griffin.

did you really just have the same diss about Braden's head size, in response to the same post, 4 1/2 months apart?

what an absolute loser

For the '15 class it is Josh Sweat.

For '16...it is early and a crap shoot on this so I'm going with Ben Cleveland for now. I mean, 6'7", 322# running a 5 second 40 is pretty scary.

I'll throw WR Nate Craig into the mix for '16.

I'll throw Neville Gallimore in this ring

6'3'' 300 running a 4.72 40 (if that time is close to accurate), and is said to have amazing explosiveness off the ball

247

Sidenote: Do any of you ever wonder how 247 comes up with their skill #'s 1-10 for players? If I'm building a DT out of clay, I'm prob making him like 6'2, 300. So why is Gallimore only an 8? I always wonder about those rankings because all of these guys who are in the top 250 have somewhat prototypical size

Scarbrough will end up being the best back from the 2014 class.

Wouldnt surprise me one bit.

Dude looked like he was playing against pee wee players against premiere Florida HS teams. Special talent.

I also like Demarkus Lodge but he is more of a possession WR. Not really the freak athlete. He also doesn't have the best QB throwing him the ball.

Well to be fair, there is no Clowney in this class, and everyone knows their own prospects better

Did it really take 10 fricking pages before someone listed him?

Yeah, a state champion quarterback huh? Tyron Johnson is better than Lodge anyway.
