How many times are you going to repeat this scenario, sounds more like wishful thinking on your part.LSU will finish with a top 5 class, you can quote me on that.

All of this sounds exactly like 2014. 545, etc.

2014 was not even close to 2016. We had the 5 for 5 BS but no where near this amount of depth. We also were not in on so many OOS kids who have ties to La. I didn't even mention the addition of Orgeron...which I'm sure scares you.

I'll bet you thought our class would fall apart last year after 8-5 and the Chavis BS. The end result wasn't what you expected though...right? I could coach LSU to a better than 8-5 record this year.

He makes it sound as if 2014 was a complete failure.

How so? It's a real possibility with an unproven DC and a QB that has proven himself to be hot garbage. Brandon Harris may choose to mature, but that is not a given.

Top five? Absolutely. Better than Alabama's? Debatable, and that is what this thread is about.

How many consecutive wins does LSU have over aTm?

The've been kicking everyone's asses in recruiting for a long time. I will readily admit that. LSU is in a very good position to swap places and that is really getting to them. I'm enjoying their paranoia. What's funny is that every article that I've read regarding the 16 class and LSU situation...has comments from other fans stating that they are glad to see another school poised to knock Bama off of that pedestal.

There are also the typical Gump homers spewing BS about "hopes and dreams" that LSU will implode in 15. We can't fix 4-0 in one year but the last 2 (and next) recruiting classes are a great start.

Well let's also throw in the possibility that Bama loses 3-4 games this year. You have to hope that LSU loses otherwise I believe that you are acknowledging that things look very good for LSU's class of 16. I don't give a frick what Bama does this year because that record will have very little impact on OUR recruiting class. If you don't get it...it's called DESPERATION on your part.

I guess when you're used to winning you become paranoid about losing

Does it really matter? Recruiting services are subjective. Missouri classes always rank lower than the sec elites, but they do pretty well in the sec east. Alabama has had some great classes that have transitioned well to the field. I understand recruiting is about reloading, but LSU's classes have been outstanding just like bama. So they've been ranked a couple spots hire than us in those rankings, cool. The only ranking that matters is in December's selection of 4 final teams. Our classes have been Damn good, enjoy them

Boy...are you stupid? It's not an adjective in front of a noun. It's called the Superdome.
