I have a question for you DWag.
Do you think The Aggies have seen better recruiting due to being in the SEC? I think more kids in Texas will want to come play for The Aggies because they will get to play in the SEC. It is obvious that all of the hype and attention on tv is on the SEC much more than any other conference.
Has it helped recruiting this year I guess is my question.

I heard today Vonn Bell may be OSU bound. I'll believe it when I see it but is it a close battle? I've heard most Bama fans say he's been a lock a while to the tide...but I feel it may come down to the end

But he grew up a Tennessee fan.

There's no question being in the SEC has provided a significant boost.
But the boost wouldn't be nearly as strong if we didn't win 10 games and the Heisman trophy. While kids want to play in the SEC, they don't want to play for a loser. These kids heard from our adversaries -- and much of the Texas media -- how A&M would come in and get throttled. They were obviously wrong.
With A&M you've got facilities, academics, atmosphere, and location. In other words, a kid has plenty of reasons to come here. And we've typically hauled in top 20 classes despite the last decade of futility.
But winning is the ultimate gambit. If you can offer a kid that in the SEC, at a location not far from mama, the question probably shifts from "Why go to A&M?" to "Why not go to A&M?"
You're seeing that shift take place in the '14 class.

Now all this out of state interest is different. That's probably almost entirely due to the increased exposure from the SEC and winning the Heisman.

That is the typical Texas bullshite and that is waht is wrong with that conference and why it has basically fallen apart. Texas has actually destroyed themselves by thinking they are better than everyone else. They have treated the other memebers of the conference like shite for years and they keep all of the money and now they suck.
I have always likes the Aggies because of Coach Stalling so I hope you guys do well and I am glad y'all are in the SEC.
Good luck

Same to you. We're thrilled to be here - obviously.

That just goes to show Dooleys ineptitude in all things football. Bell WANTED to be a Vol his entire life and Dooley let him slip through the cracks. Now Butch will be lucky to get an OV late in the game

What makes you think you get Ramsey!

We will not land Ramsey or Bell. Dooley shite the bed with both of them, especially Bell.

I think we have a slight chance with Bell. Since he was a lifelong Vol fan but Ramsey has come and gone but I can't decide which is worse Ramsey in blue and orange or cardinal and gold.

Good enough for me I have decided I would rather see him at UF than with fricking Kiffin. Good Luck!

As for the OP, I will say Marquez North, Reeve Koehler, Christian Morris, Ryan Jenkins, Irvin-Sills, and a few others in January.
I think we take 12 more total. I'd say 5-6 will be 4* or higher.
