Deshaun Smith at TE, Beckwith at LB or DE, T. White at CB & Frank H at DE all have the talent to start at some point.

I don't see us burning Henry's redshirt. Tate, Voelzke and Dean should have TE locked up pretty well. Dean is still around isn't he?

Yeah Dean is still here. I think it all depends on how early Henry gets to campus and how he takes to the weights. There isn't a TE on campus that is as talented as him in the passing game. His issue is going to be strength and technique when it comes to blocking on the line because he really wasn't asked to do that at PA. I don't think he will be starting game one by any means but I think he could be there by the end of the year. I could also see him being used more in an H-Back role this season to get him on the field while he is getting stronger. That way he is in the game but not on the line. I just think that he is going to prove to be way too talented to keep off the field.

vonn bell might be the over glorified nickel, or "star" defensive back, but I don't think he'll start. lots of freshmen WRs should have an opportunity at the H back, but again, no starters.

The next Eric Berry shocked he picked tOSU over Tenn, wish we would've let him commit instead of holding out for Conner

Robert Nkemdiche and Tony Conner are the guys that everyone thinks will start but, I think we are over looking Mark Dodson and Christian Morgan.

I only see Desean Smith at TE for LSU possible starting.

The other guys would have to for be forced start due to injuries or something IMO.

Herron and White are at the top of the list though. They will certainly see the field. White could end up beating Collins out for the #2 CB though.

I wouldn't sleep on Christian Lacouture either.

I think Diarse could make waves on kick off coverage like Jarvis did, and maybe Ricky Jefferson.

That is certainly a good problem to have. We'll need all the help we can get next year but I think we'll end up surprising people. The only actual big question mark is QB play IMO. But you'd figure Petrino QB recruits can handle a run first offense. Especially with a good play caller like Chaney running things.

i'm told he wasn't thrilled that saban wanted him to play corner, and so you may not have had that option. he may end up at corner still, but we at least will let him cut his teeth at safety.

I don't see a Bama player starting unless it is Howard. But NS has played about 10-12 per year as true frosh. I can see that number being high this year since we were a young team last year with only 9 or so seniors. There were a ton of freshmen, RS freshmen, and sophomores that saw significant snaps last year and that includes on ST and in mop up rolls. Most don't realize that a ST starter is a valuable member of a team but that gives them game time experience for them to start in following years in the top 22

With so few players leaving the program doesn't that mean there are fewer spots open on thre two deep for immediate PT?
