Recruiting sites always have every offer listed... especially for a 2018 kid. Probably only has 11 offers. Good catch.

Who really knows to be honest. He looks like a great prospect either way.

The 6-foot-5, 305-pound Mays chose Tennessee over scholarship offers from at least 10 other teams, including Alabama, Florida State, Clemson and Texas A&M, giving the Vols their first commitment for the 2018 class.

They also went on to say that he was only 1 of 4 OL in the 2018 class that Alabama had been given a legitimate offer to. He's expected to be one of the top OL in the country in his class and one of the top instate kids for 2018. Comes from a great blood line. His dad was a UT standout and would be NFL OL before blowing out his knee in team works outs in his first year in the NFL.

Huge kid to be a sophmore in high school.

Rated #42 player in the country, #1 player in TN, & the #5 OT in the new 247 2018 rankings

Rated a 98 on 247 Composite

Has offers from the following SEC schools:

Alabama
Ole Miss
aTm
Vanderbilt
Tennessee

Also has offers from:
Clemson
Duke
Florida State
Oklahoma State
North Carolina

So, yes...it is a good get...even if signing day is nearly 3 years down the road. UT has had pretty good luck with legacy commitments lately.
