Kendell Jones and Drake Jackson just had two intense reps. Ended with a flare up #TheOpening

There has been 3 minor skirmishes today, all 3 involved OL Drake Jackson, kid plays angry, I kind of like it

#UK OL commit Drake Jackson has gotten under the skin of #Bama DT commit Raekwon Davis at @TheOpening - LINK … #BBN

So Drake Jackson had a nice block on Raekwon Davis and Davis yelled "3-star" at Jackson. Makes sense.

This is great as long as he can control it on and especially OFF the field.

Trey LMAO for LSU was the latest victim of this.

Hopefully he has a great career for UK.

I like it. Gonna have to put Drake on ol' Bobby P in the pre-game skirmish this time around.

Drake is the world's nicest kid off of the football field. He's been around the program for several years, so those of us who head out to open practices/training have gotten a chance to speak with him frequently.

On the football field, he has a huge chip on his shoulder and in addition to being technically sound he has a mile-wide mean streak.

I didn't include it, but Boss Tagaloa (Bama target?) was the third player he scuffled with today, after Tagaloa got driven 5 yards wide and ripped Jackson's helmet off.

Liberal. Sure, we've offered him, as we have two hundred plus other kids, but he's staying out west.

Yeah, I put a question mark because he was showing an offer on 247, but his crystal ball is all Cal (or something like that).

Raekwon Davis, in all likelihood, will probably end up at a Mississippi school as well.

Kendell Jones will probably stay committed though.

Seems really raw and plays too high most of the time. Very athletic, but definitely needs to work on fundamentals.

I've watched this kid the past several years and though he has gotten a better first step he has always played way too high! Personally think he'd be smart to switch to OT.

Not really. Barton Simmons said Jackson was the second best OL performer today though:

2. Drake Jackson – Jackson is the smallest offensive lineman at 6-1.5, 301 pounds. On Thursday he got in fights with the 6-7, 318-pound Raekwon Davis and the 6-4.5, 361-pound Kendell Jones, both Alabama commits and both among the most imposing guys I've ever seen. Jackson wasn't backing down. That scrappy mentality served the Kentucky commit well on Thursday as he was in the hunt to win almost all of his reps.

I don't know this kid, but I am a fan already. Love the scrappy attitude. Look forward to watching him toss around defenders the next several years for Kentucky.

Top 150 player nationally, per 247. Saban wanted him.

Raekwon Davis will probably sign with Mississippi State and be an O-lineman.

Why was he yelling 3 star at him? Aren't they both 3 stars?

why would you try to downplay the talent/rank of a guy getting the best of you in front of all your peers and the men responsible for said ranking?

Sounds like a little bit like stupidity and absence of daily morals to me, bud.

Drake's a 4* on Scout, ESPN, 247 and Rivals. He's ranked 1 or 2 at his position by every service except ESPN (4). I'm not sure why he was yelling 3 star at Drake.
