I heard that if you scream Mark Richt in perfect harmony with your soul mate at midnight in front of Butts-Mehre, the UGAPD will arrest you on suspicion of being a football player.

That just seems like the exact kind of do-gooder expression Richt would make while plumbing the depths of the vast West Cost Offense.

He is one of the players AU is recruiting the hardest. The staff thinks he is flippable.

Awesome. May they continue to waste their time.

I do believe he is actually recruiting for Georgia wherever he visits, so ...

His quote on BOL was interesting where he said he might visit G-Day, but would most definitely visit for A- Day.

Side note: I think it's interesting that he is visiting for Bama's A-Day, not Auburn's.

He is coming to our G-Day game and then heading over to watch our baseball team take on the Vols, with appointments to talk with the football and baseball coaches that day.

And he is still saying he is 100% to Georgia.

It would be a heckuva snag if you manage to flip him, but I don't see it happening as of today.

Tomorrow?

And people wonder why i posted Bama lock and AU lean or definitely flippable. That's what these threads always turn into. I was just doing the work for them.

That being said, when he made his commitment he stated that AU was his second favorite.

100 percent committed is often lip service. Not saying it is in this case, but Bama had had commits who claimed to be 100% committed two weeks before flipping.

On the Bama board we call 100% committed while taking numerous visits to the same school the kiss of death. Could be different for UGA.

I'm not naive enough to think that all of Bama's current commits will be Bama signees in February. I don't think our commits are Bama locks, as i think Ledbetter will probably flip before NSD.

Could be, and Alabama is definitely a force to be reckoned with in recruiting, but Godwin is - so far - strong to the Dawgs. Strong enough to be recruiting for Georgia on his visits from what we are hearing. It doesn't hurt that our new Defensive Coordinator is a DB specialist.

I think there would be more of a risk for us here is Godwin was out of state. But he's a Georgia kid so his ties to the state are extremely strong to begin with. You flipped Derrick Henry from us, but we kind of saw it coming as he had no Georgia ties and committed to us very early in his junior year. Not so with Godwin.

You have the problem with Ledbetter that we had with Henry. He's an out of stater that committed to you early. That doesn't mean that we get him, but he is definitely in play.

I know this: we ain't gettin' no kid from Alabama.

It's implied...

Just read above, AU IS RECRUITING HIM HARD BECAUSE WE BELIEVE HE's FLIPPABLE.
