He's such a dynamic player with the ball in his hands, he's a 80 yard td waiting to happen. Now that we have him, As many good WR's as we are in on, It sounds crazy, but I hope we say no to somebody so we can get some more DL AND DE'S.

Honest question. LSU has great skill players and always has. Somehow the QB position eludes them, so I'm not sure why this is such a big commitment.

1. i said navy, so not sure how GT got brought into it.
2. You do realize when Calvin Johnson was there they didnt run the triple option right? Total different coach... so this argument is void
3. Demaryious thomas went to GT before they got the coach they have now and considered transferring. His numbers were not impressive at all until his last yr when he had a breakout year, to put him where he is at now.

Somehow the QB position eludes them,

When Saban bolted for the NFL, Les Miles was able to turn Jamarcus Russell into the top overall pick in the 2007 draft.
Unfortunately, he had too much bama in him and was a bust.

Matt Flynn won a BCSNC and has made a lot of money in the NFL as a career backup. Greg Mcelroy is already out of the league.

Jordan Jefferson/Jarrett Lee combined to beat Saban and bama back-to-back in 2010 and 2011 (how many college Qb's have done that?) and led LSU to what many believe was the greatest regular season in CFB history.

Zack Mettenberger will always be known as the only QB in SEC history to lead an offense with 3000 yds passing, a 1000 yd rusher, and two 1000 yd receivers. Not bad, and he has already impressed enough with the terrible Titans that he will follow Matt Flynn by financially securing his future in the NFL while we watch another bama QB (AJ Mccarron) fade away from glory and end up on the SEC network.

Anthony Jennings had a rough year in his first year as a starter and bama still needed another last minute drive(and at least ten questionable calls) to beat LSU this year.

so I'm not sure why this is such a big commitment.

It's a big commitment for this young man because he sees how successful LSU WR's are in the NFL and wants to represent his home state while giving himself the best opportunity to follow them. I think bama has only one WR that anyone in the NFL has ever heard of (Julio Jones).

So he is not interested in getting the ball in college or being successful there. You only mention the possibility of being successfull in the NFL. He could go anywhere and do what you listed.

He should probably follow M Dupre on tweeter. Sounds like a boring, underachieving college football career is in his future.
