Who knows! That one makes no sense. Sucks to lose him. He is definitely a stud. Started most of the season as a true freshman. They put him in in the Texas game and he handled T'vondre Sweat admirably.
I know Bedenbaugh can be pretty demanding and not everyone can handle his coaching but Cayden was on his way to being another NFL draft pick.

As for Burks, he was the leading receiver at Purdue this year. Finished the season with 47 catches for 629 yds and 7 TD's. Proven talent added to an already loaded WR room. Really didn't think we would take a receiver in the portal. The coaches must have really liked him. Has 2 years eligibility remaining.

Nice get right there, he's a very solid pickup. Thought my Horns might get him.

Radio station reported OU didn’t wanna let him play offensive tackle . So he left . Whoever gets him will be getting a 1 st round talent . He was a captain as a freshman . The coaches should give him whatever he wanted .

If true then BB needs to take some heat. No depth for one. And CG had the most reps of all returning line. We should be loaded on the OLine with his pedigree yet are not, why is that? Look at what Jones has done to WR room in less than a year, completely rebuilt.

I don’t think it’s true about the positions thing if it is that’s just sad . We have had a good offseason this year and this just sets us back . If it for money that’s really sucks . I know OU is paying their juniors to stay . Some

If he's transferring to switch positions, the OU coaches must not have thought he would be better than what the already have at the tackle spots.
If he's just leaving for money then I don't know how upset I would be. OU pays their guys, especially the productive ones. That's part of why Billy Bowman and Danny Stutsman are returning next year rather than going in the draft. I have no reason to think Cayden is just chasing more money. His recruitment didn't appear to be about NIL at all. I've only heard good things about him.
I guess the one positive thing about the NIL era is it gives us all a lot more to talk about.
