Smoke and mirrors my dear sir....Smoke and mirrors. You've bought into something you've been fed. Completely ignoring what your eyes see. You don't see Ackers' complete skill set because he plays qb for his school. Word is he became the priority after camping here. I get this from a reliable source but I guess you now he is FAR from it. He destroyed the run defense of what I hear was one of the best defenses in the country. A school out of Starkville, MS.

Son, don't come on here and try to pretend like you have any knowledge of MS HS football. That would be about as stupid as me saying I know Al HS football. I mean I would not make the mistake of saying the above drivel if I knew that Starkville beat Clinton not once but twice last year with a combined score of 90-34. Does that sound like destroying anything?

I know nothing of Mississippi football other than seeing that he had almost 200 yards rushing on one of the most vaunted defenses in Mississippi. I read where he didn't even play in the first game due to injury. Is that correct? I never said his team won anything. I said that he destroyed their run defense which had a great D-line. Looks like he had 202 yards rushing. Maybe he just pinched them or something? Son, learn to understand what you're reading before yapping off at the mouth. You must be a Starkville fan?

And what was the score of the second game son? Let me inform you 45-27. When did Clinton get most of their points/yards? The second half they scored 20 points after Starkville was up 31-7 and basically put their 2nd string in....so please shut your trap until you actually know what you are talking about.

I just did a little research with my buddy. He says that Starkville did not have a 2nd string in at no point in that game and it got out of hand at the end. Looking at the box score that you put up it looks like Clinton didn't really get going until the 3rd qtr. So you're saying that Starkville had their 2nd team in in the 3rd of a tight game? Gtfoh!I was told that that game was tight until Ackers threw an interception. Besides, you still aren't addressing what I said, which was he destroyed their run defense. He had over 100 yards in the 1st half. Again, he had tremendous success against a great defense. So you are trying to discredit what the kid did? Do these guys look like 2nd stringers to you? Looks like I see Kobe Jones, Willie Gaye and even Aj Brown out there on defense. All guys we recruited. We don't recruit 2nd teamers lil guy. LINK

No buddy you still don't know what you or your buddy are talking about. I have the HUDL for every game and watched them several times. The game was in hand and Starkville only had issues with 2 teams the entire playoffs and Clinton wasn't one of them. Not discrediting Akers at all just pointing out that you are bumping your gums about something you have no knowledge of. He can have as many yards as he wants but unless you score it really doesn't matter. End result was that Starkville scored 45 points and Clinton scored 27....enuf said.

You evidently like to hear yourself talk... Was the issue ever of Starkville winning? No dum dum....The issue is a highly recruited back busting you taters up for 202 yards with kids we recruited in there which says he can do it against top level. Get back on topic Mrs. Smith. Looks like Clinton scored the most points against them this season...hmmmm

"He destroyed the run defense of what I hear was one of the best defenses in the country."

Hmm, I believe this is your quote right? When you are loosing by 3 TDs most of the game while throwing 3 INTs I would submit you are not "destroying" shite. Football is a team game and the score outweighs racking up yards without scoring every day of the week and twice on Friday. He is one of the best players in the country but that statement in and of itself is stupid. If you can't figure that out you are beyond help.

No what's stupid is you are illiterate to the fact that no one is talking about passing. No one was talking about "team." I'm sure everyone here has played football before therefore it's a given that team beats player everytime. Again, were we talking about rushing or a total game? I'm sure everyone puts up 200 yards rushing on them right? Can you tell me how many backs put up 100 on them this year? The most important thing which you can't seem to comprehend is the two important words. "RUN DEFENSE!" Where did you go to school again? Shite University? You're really making yourself look like an idiot....

Once again you are the idiot buddy....yep he really destroyed them as they were basically up BY 3 frickING TOUCHDOWNS THE ENTIRE GAME....why can't you comprehend that it wasn't a game after the first 8 minutes or so. That team was clowning about there after....but you know so much about Mississippi HS football and the specific region in question. Keep on telling me more about the game and better yet the team. Maybe you can tell me about their HC, their RB and WR that are D-1 targets as well since you are SO SMART and want to say he destroyed a team that basically lead the entire game BY 3 MOTHER frickING TOUCHDOWNS THE ENTIRE GAME!!!!!! Such a destruction!!!!!

Were you at the game? You are the only one saying it was out of hand. My buddy says you are a straight up liar if you say that game was out of hand. He basically told me the kid took over the game and they could do nothing to stop him. With that being said, yea they got beat but it isn't the arse whipping you are portraying. lmao... Again, you are a dummy for turning this into something else. I can go on all day idiot. How is it possible that they lead by 3 tds the entire game? I can see that isn't true by the boxscore YOU put up...Such a doop. Talk to yourself and mind your business next time. I'm bout to watch Cam dab on you. Get it!? BUH BYE!!!

Keep going then because want to know how anybody destroyed at team and still lost 45 - 27. And no I was at an upset that night (if you know anything about MS HS football then you will know what game I was at that night) but watched the game 3 times via HUDL....I have been watched Cam since he was in 8th grade and watched every game he played this year. Hell I know way more than you'll get know about him and any MS 6A target. Plus I am one of the guys that says he is likely the best RB in the 2017 class and want Clinton to play him there...but no way no how does a kid destroy a team and still loose 45-27....anyone that says that is a straight up idiot (glance in the mirror and you'll see what I am talking about).

I've seen the videos. Several times. My eyes (not to mention the measurables) tell me Harris is better. I couldn't care less what 247, Rivals, Scout and ESPN say. I go by what my eyes say and what other HS coaches and talent evaluators that I know say.

Some of them think Akers is very overrated. I don't think he is. I think he's a very good player. But he's no Harris, IMO.

I agree. But I've never seen a place as sensitive to a different viewpoint in my life.

Akers is a very good player. And he has every right to express that he thinks he's a better back than Harris. I also have every right to tell him that he's crazy. Harris, IMO, is a once-every-few years kind of talent at RB nationally. And I say that knowing we'll have a heck of a time holding on to either of them.

I'll agree with you, Harris looks like he is "special" and almost a lock to be a future NFL running back. Akers looks like a stud as well, so I'm hoping we get him. Harris looks like a guy who could have been a starting running back in college this past year. He's going to be really, really good. That being said, if y'all get him, hopefully Akers will change to Ole miss.
