UK and tu with almost identical classes so far. Who does less with more than Texas, and more specifically Mack brown? He got lucky with Vince Young.
I think UK is getting a bunch of kids with potential to perform, and obviously the program doesn't exactly sell itself so you have to love the early recruiting success and fan buy in.
UK fans will be good fans for a decent program, but its hard to get excited for a bad football team when you're alternative is the winningest bball program ever.

For the class of 2013 we beat out a few big schools for some in state kids.
Florida wanted Ryan Timmons pretty bad. Jason Hatcher had offered from most major programs and was committed to USC but we flipped him when Stoops started recruiting him. Not sure about Ohio State, but we've taken some kids that Nebraska was recruiting pretty hard. Got Drew Barker over South Carolina.
We've won a few recruiting battles that we would have never won with Joker. We'll get Matt Elam over Alabama as well, IMO.

Meh. I've always cared about the football team more. Basketball just isn't as exciting IMO.

Ryan Timmons and Thaddeus Snodgrass off the top of my head. Drew Barker got offers from several large schools as well.
ETA: As Cat said we've also stole some Nebraska recruits and have one of their former 4-star RBs transferring in for 2014.

He definitely needs to put on some weight, but his height is fine. He'll be playing in the slot. Apparently has great hands and speed. Size is his only read negative.

Yep. Huge get since our DL is made up of three seniors and a junior this season.
