It's been between Ole Miss and Bama for months. LSU just recently got slightly back into contention. He was sitting at church with Freeze and Deontay Anderson Sunday. Not that it means much other than there is a much higher chance than 0% that he ends up at Ole Miss. Freezus saves brother

Where has that been reported? Lecounte? Doesn't he play defense and in next years class? That makes no sense at all why he wants to play with someone on the other side of the ball in next years class.

That sounds like something someone cooked up because some UGA fans more than any other fanbase like to cook up fantasy stories about recruits recruiting other recruits and wanting to play together. It all started when Richt had that dream team concept and recruits were all touting the dream team thing.

The reason he is visiting next weekend is because Kirby and 4-5 other coaches did an in home with him and talked him into it late. His brother last said it was up in the air as to whether it would happen or not. That is the only reason. Demetris Robertson hasn't been to UGA in a while so when exactly did Eason and Lecounte come up with this grand plan with him?

You guys will believe anything.

Don't people just EXPECT Bama to end up #1 in recruiting? It is the norm, as long as Darth Saban is leading them.

LSU will sign the most ESPN top 300 players in history. That will create positive buzz for LSU on NSD

I saw him in person on UGA's campus as an unofficial visitor in November.

ND 247 guys think it's ND/GT at this point

There is maybe a 5% chance he goes to GT. It's ND or UGA.

I already said I think GT has less than 10% chance. I don't at all think he is going to GT. Which basically means I think he is 70% ND. The other 30 you can fill in.

He had a "5 star visit to GT last weekend" and according those close to him GT made up a lot of ground.

UGAs insiders would say the same and ND insiders already think he is theirs to lose.

Nobody knows on this kid.

They already "adjusted" LSU's class two weeks ago to ensure that Bama gets this like every other year. So enjoy it gumps you bought it. (As long as you guys have the most subscribers you get Number 1 class)

Tom Luginbill, the national recruiting director for ESPN, believes in the "Bama bump." But he thinks it's predicated more on recruiting networks trying to appease subscribers than a nod to Nick Saban's track record.

"Keep in mind that a lot of these recruiting websites and resources are reliant upon revenue of a fan signing up for a team site," Luginbill says. "When that's the case and you have to drive up (subscription) sales, what do you think those sites are going to do? They are going to start pumping and priming players that are committed to their school or considering their school and place them above other players because they are trying to drive subscription sales.

"Anyone who says that isn't true is full of baloney."

Rivals and 247 are biggest bama sites, also the ones the downgraded LSU's class two weeks ago securing the victory for bama. lol

Lol... You sound mad that one of the most recognizable brands in all of sports will be touting LSU having the best recruiting class in NCAA history.

Just more exposure to LSU. Can't hurt with future recruits I guess

It's slightly frustrating that LSU fans have come up with this grand conspiracy theory to explain why Bama will have a higher ranked class... And it's just plain funny that LSU fans are all of a sudden buying into ESPN's rankings just because they have them ranked higher. ESPN has the fewest amount of resources devoted to recruiting out of all the sites in the industry. They don't put on camps, and the guys who do the rankings spend a fraction of their time on high school recruiting, whereas the experts at Scout, 247, and Rivals literally have only one job, and that's to evaluate high school talent.

247 is the best at ranking the prospects, so maybe they need to have a day long signing-day special like ESPN then. 20+ ESPN top 300 prospects will get the most airwaves.

Congrats on winning the airwaves. It's weird though, because I thought ESPN hated LSU and won't stop blowing UA.
